Galley heater
We are in Colorado and its not cold yet by any means but it is cool in the mornings, when we purchased the coach it was 115 deg so making sure the heaters worked kinda fell through the cracks… more concerned with the AC’s at the time (not all work that will be for a different thread) anyways we found out the salon and the bedroom heaters work fine (these are the ones on the floor with the knob you turn to adjust) but when you push the galley button on the panel it turns green and then starts flashing green/red and the heater does not kick on… any help to a starting point on where to begin would be greatly appreciated Thanks again

Our 99 Liberty had one Cadet toe kick heater. If that’s what you have they can still be obtained from Cadet. There was a recall on our particular model, but we were outside the free replacement window.
You might try pulling your heaters out and trouble shooting them. They are usually pretty simple devices. There might over temp protection that needs to be reset. Just guessing.

On our coach, I believe the 110 Heat button in our bedroom panel must be
selected and you have to double tap the heat button on the galley SMX pad.
This is from our SMX manual:
Auxiliary Heat
(Factory set: disabled)
Normally, the aux heat function is disabled, so that the
compressor runs in reverse cycle heating mode without aux
heat. When aux heat is enabled (see below), press the HEAT key
once to run Reverse-Cycle heating only. Press the HEAT key
twice quickly to run aux heat.
To enable or disable aux heat:
• Enter the programming mode:
Press OFF.
Press SET.
• Press HEAT and SET simultaneously.
• Use the UP or DOWN key to toggle the aux heat on or off. When
aux heat is enabled the letters AH will be displayed . When aux
heat is disabled, the Null sign (–) will appear.
• Press OFF to exit the programming mode. -
Featherlite, Marathon and Liberty have different systems.
This question needs answered by a Featherlite owner.

I pulled the heater out and cleaned it re-installed it (it looked new the reset button was not tripped) and nothing the thing I don’t understand is why the panel button starts flashing green/red… any ideas?

Just wondering, is Power Management Switch on?
Or it might be a baseboard heater breaker in the basement panel that needs to be reset ??

Power Management switch is off I will check the basement panel when I get back to the coach (am away for a few days) thanks !
