I saw one at that same location that had a flow just like that out of the front tank. Scary!

Actually Dick, the Love Bugs are out already. Enjoy scrubbing them off the front of your coach after arriving at West Palm.

From my experience last December on the way South for the winter, I will offer my opinion on the safety aspect of the Prevost.

I’m sure that many remember my post on accident that I was involved in. If not, you can pull up the post, read it, and see the photos. After a collision at cruising speed on I-75 South of Atlanta, GA there was very minor damage to the front end of my 1999 XLV Country Coach conversion.

I’m sure that the front-engine configuration appeals to many as a safety zone not there in a class A motorcoach/bus, and to some degree it is, but the structural integrity of the front end front end of a Prevost should not be under estimated. I feel very safe as I ride down the road in, what I consider to be, the closest thing to a Sherman Tank in a motorcoach that is highway legal.

After having said that, I doubt that either would come out very well in a head-on collision with a bridge abutment.

Way cool. Fuselage off a jetliner. I’ll start stripping mine down today to attach parts. Was getting tired of the Ole Bird any who.

Jon,be sure that white cane has a red tip on it.

I have a pair of glasses that the eye doctors give cataract patients when the leave the office after surgery.

P.S. A tin cup won’t do, take a wheelbarrow, Prefost owners are very generous.

You are a cheapskate Fred. The watch was a “Rilex” made in some country whose name I cannot pronounce, the “diamonds” are chips of broken glass, and the gold turned my wrist green. But since the hands won’t move I can say it is the correct time twice a day.

OK Jon, you get half the Life Time dues Tom gave to Larry. Therefore your dues are paid up for half your life.

And, I want to know when the dues went down. I had to pay with a Diamond Encrusted Gold Rolex.

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE … yes, even Jon and especially Di.

Ok, this will be our first winter in Florida, so I never paid much attention to this event in the past. What are the details?

George, that is odd they would duct the OTR into the bathroom and not your Rvac You would figure they would think you wouldn’t really need the OTR into the bathroom since you would be using it while driving, very odd they did that. On my setup I believe it has to many ducts to cool effectively, my bathroom is also ducted off the OTR. The only option I have for better cooling is block off the bedroom ducts and the hallway duct in front of the thinking chair. I wound if the Coleman unit that has been brought up on this topic cools any better or more efficient, I know it has the same BTU capacity as ours. I wouldn’t want roof ac as those are large holes cut into the roof and can always be a potential leak.

    Art, we carry several,

A small EOM by the door, small one under the sink, a large one (5 pounds I think) in the first passenger bay, another small one in the second passenger bay, and another large one in the back closet along with a First Alert fire ladder. Got to get out quick and safely.
