when I’m building I shoot differant areas of the bus to decide where to spend $ on insulation. Play with it sometime and see how your converter did. Especially roof area and front windshield area. I have seen as much as 40 degree differance in a few inches in bright sun. Also shows heat loss in cold weather. Bob

Bob,
The red cap screws into the valve and I think it’s only purpose is to deflect the exhaust air to the side. There are two very small opening in the red cap 180 degree’s off that exhausts the air. I don’t see any other purpose and would think your fine with just the opening. If there is a purpose other than deflecting the exhaust air, maybe Prevost can answer the question.

Al, Go to your room until the squeezin’s wears off. As to the 30% discount, there is no way I want to change from the 50% discount the rest of us get.
Jim…….does Barb know about Laura?

What a great idea….

Pueblo El Mirage is nice. They will park you in the back ins. The guys that have parked us are top notch with directing you into your spot. Sunflower RV resort is not quite as nice but every thing is pull thru. It is the desert which means parking on gravel

I spoke with David at IBP and I am now convinced the rivets on the older coaches are there for a reason. 🙂 Looks like a lot of riveting in my future.

Wll Jon, I believe you have earned a demerit for un-Prevost-like behavior. Admitting that you use the toilet but do not always flush! While that might be acceptable behavior in a Winnebago or some other plastic motorhome, it is not to be done in a Prevost. Remember the factory motto…..”the Ultimate Class”.
Please post an immediate apology and state that you will never do that again!
As an aside, I believe your post finally solves the age old argument about whether a single holding tank is better or dual gray and black tanks are better. Dual tanks wins, because we can use the toilet and flush every time and we will always fill the gray tank first from normal use. No worries about not flushing.
Not to mention, when we dump, black first, then the gray soapy water does a fine job of washing out the hose.

Tom, thanks. I think you must be right. Had some work done in the dash area and the HWH leveling hasn’t worked since.
I checked the 1st bay and no joy, did find the level sensor on the 2nd bay roof .
Working with HWH to trouble shoot the system but hard to do if I can’t find all the componets.

Greg,
If the noise is coming from between the two rear axles it might be the three port Norgren valve that is to either keep the air path between the tag and drive axle air bags open (normal position) or closes between the two sets of air bags and exhausts air from the tag air bag. Try cycling the tag lift to see if that stops the noise.
There is a lot going on in that area on our air systems and there are othere valves, the air dryer, and the rear auxiliary air distribution which is fed from the front of the coach (might not be on your coach) so you may have to wait until you can get under the coach before you can isolate the origin of the noise. You know about safety so be careful if you get under there.

Thank you so very much! I don’t know what to say. I make my living in public speaking but I have never given an acceptance speech before. I certainly do not deserve this award. There are so many out there more deserving than me. I would like to thank my wife, my daughter, my mom and dad, my record company, all the fans…..
Seriously…Very seriously… Thank you to the anonymous donor of these fuel cards. This is very generous of you and I want you to know this is one family that appreciates it very, very much. I pray that God blesses you for it.
I also want to say how much I appreciate having access to this Prevost Community. I know it is a lot of work for somebody but it is a great benefit to me. Thanks to Bob Glines for inviting me over here as well.

I love to walk, bicycle, hike and any other form self-propelled
travel. The trouble is, my wife is partially disabled and I want her with me
even if I have to carry her up the stairs. -
Al,
Are y’all going to that rally, we have been thinking of joining the Prevost Prouds and just haven’t done it yet?
Wonder if it would be too late to join and go to that one?

I do have the latest Prodriver DC. I want to confirm that the real fuel mileage agrees with what the ECM is saying and I agree with you, it will take a few fill ups to determine the MPG.
