  • Red caps on level low control?

    mine are missing. I am speaking of the control system in the steering compartment of w-6553 98 45XLE A puff of air comes out when coil is activated/deactivated. what are their purpose? required? source? Bob

    Bob,

    The red cap screws into the valve and I think it’s only purpose is to deflect the exhaust air to the side. There are two very small opening in the red cap 180 degree’s off that exhausts the air. I don’t see any other purpose and would think your fine with just the opening. If there is a purpose other than deflecting the exhaust air, maybe Prevost can answer the question.
