Clifford/GilJ,
Thanks for the information. I had forgotten all about Oregon Motorcoach. I’ll pass that along to the repair shop or get the coach back and DIM.
Gil J, took the part out and it does have Motorola numbers on it. Worked on ordering by that part number and no luck. Found another number and it turned out to only be for the heat sink. The heat sink is a three day overnight shipping from HONG KONG. I guess we don’t manufacture anything in America anymore – Thanks Bill Clinton.
Have a great day today.

Ace,inside the t stat housing you have seals that go bad it maybe worth your time and 8 bucks to change those it does affect the cooling.
A 180 t stat does not open fully till around 190 degrees ,190 to 195 is the norm for a DDEC also the 9 or 11 blade will work better for you at 70 miles per hr I always run the 11 blade with no heating problems on a 8v92
I don’t like the price the last Horton 11 blade I bought was 600 bucks still cheaper than cracked head or leaking cylinder o-ring

Tom, if you don’t mind the bother of sending it, I’ll be happy to take it and pay for shipping and whatever.

Also it looks like from the pics that the Qest stuff would be compatible.

Actually I think the Webasto aids coolant change because the circulating pump can help purge any bubbles.

I believe most campgrounds, if not all, have a maximum number of people for the standard rate they quote. I think the real question here is do campgrounds actually enforce their policy of charging for the additional people. I know that in some high demand campgrounds they don’t really need the business, like Mrtyle Beach in the summer, so they do charge for extra vistors on a given site.

Good post John, it may save someone the pain of paying for a new slide seal because debris poked a hole in it.
I just can’t seem to find my slide button!:)

I parked next to the old Cowboys bus at Prevost in Ft. Worth when we were there in 2011. I thought it was pretty nice but it sure was not as nice as this one. That is one nice bus.

Haha! I suppose you are right since nobody is claiming it. I wish I would have asked someone the story. A professional driver was looking at it the same time I was and shaking his head. He said, “That can happen so fast.”
That is so true.

Good point about the Cruise Airs. I still lower it down in campgrounds because usually it is a concrete pad, but if we were dry camping on grass or a dusty surface I would leave the coach up.
I am showing great restraint in not making a smart assed remark about Tom’s practice of turning off the water pump. But to address that in a somewhat serious manner several days prior to a trip we turn on the water pump so the refrigerator has a full ice bin when we leave. So while I fully appreciate the risk a failed fitting or pipe can create, as a practical matter we have to trust our coach’s water system inegrity or figure out how to make it so we can trust it otherwise every trip turns worrysome.

and certain coolant types require a ‘blank’ filter.

Jim,
I just bought 4 new Michelins through FMCA and they were 5860 plus tax, you can’t beat that price for 315’s.
As for batteries, contact me for the PC discount…

Hey Jon,
What makes that intersting is that I checked the grease before our trip to Hilton head. And even stranger that the wheel has no grease on it. And I always do a walk around at every stop and check the hubs.
I may just change the bearings anyway since I will have it off. You know “While we’re at it”
