  • Electrical Part Needed

Posted by Archived on March 23, 2013 at 8:19 pm

    Folks,

I’m attaching a photo of a part I need to get a replacement for. Its location is in the converter installed wiring box in the electrical cabinet on the street side under the driver’s seat area. It is a thermal resistor that protects the circuit from over heat and possible electrical fire. The part supposedly is in the control circuit for the overhead toggle switches. The coach is a 1990 chassis and an April 1991 conversion by Country Coach. I don’t have the circuit schematic from Country Coach so if anyone does have it I’d sure like to get a copy.

Any and all comments will be greatly appreciated.

    Replacement Part Needed

    Thanks,

    Will Garner

You can also call CC. They are in business as a service snd sales company. If you can remove the thermal device it should have a part number on the top.

    Clifford/GilJ,

Thanks for the information. I had forgotten all about Oregon Motorcoach. I’ll pass that along to the repair shop or get the coach back and DIM.

Gil J, took the part out and it does have Motorola numbers on it. Worked on ordering by that part number and no luck. Found another number and it turned out to only be for the heat sink. The heat sink is a three day overnight shipping from HONG KONG. I guess we don’t manufacture anything in America anymore – Thanks Bill Clinton.

    Have a great day today.

    Will,

A heat sink is just the cooling fins. What is the Motorla number?
