What Art said. If only the secondary system is losing pressure and cycling it is most likely leaking at or before the service brake relay valve.
But if the aux system is losing air simultaneously it suggests an aux system leak.
The primary and secondary tanks are brake systems only and aux is anything but brakes unless someone got creative and modified the bus by using secondary air for something.
Unless the service brakes are applied there is no air pressure downstream from the relay valve, except the parking brake relay valve (in the rear) which has pressure to release the spring brakes for driving. Secondary is front only.

The pin can simply be pushed in. That might require a U shaped piece of metal you can put behind the handle and slide over or using something skinny and sharp to put between the door and the wall to engage the pin and slide it left a tiny bit at a time. Seems like a device stuck in the inside loop of the handle and pushed against the pin would be easy enough to come up with.

That is the next step. I sprayed some Kroil on what I could see of the lock pin and into the lock. We are one day out from our winter home in Yuma, AZ, so will let that giggle for the day before trying the key lock again. If that doesn’t work the the locksmith will get to drill it out. Thanks.

Bill, I didn’t do the step you ask about . I just uninstalled and reinstalled.

The starter is 24V so the starting batteries are configured with 2 sets in parallel (12V pair) and then the pair are wired in series to create a 24V bank. The power is drawn from the entire bank for starting and is also wired to one of the 2 12V banks to power turn signals and headlights, etc. (Unless some of those are 24V as well as my old ’88 was).
Some one will have to come along with the house wiring but usually the 24V side is used for the inverters and the rest is 12V to power your interior lighting and other 12V features. Our bank of house batteries (6-4D, formerly 8-4D) is all 12V as are our inverters.

exposed vent directly beneath the roof ac which allows the cold air to ‘dump’ directly out – without traveling through duct work. The cooling effect is immediate.
I’ve had them before, they’re great, wish my current bus had them.
In a hot bus, you typically start out dumping air directly in the cabin, then as it cools down you close the vents which forces air flow back out the duct work.

If I did not do Schneider, I probably would have done Victron. Both are great. Schneider bought Xantex a while back, so they inherited a lot of engineering and experience in RV inverters. I’m pretty happy with the Schneider equipment, but I think Victron has a better interface. In fact I’ve been thinking about using their Cerbo GX to monitor everything but the inverter itself.

I don’t think this applies but I had a similar thing happen when I did not realize that the old filter seal did not come off with the filter and I screwed the new one on which now had 2 seals. I had a similar hazardous spill but the filter was on my generator so I also had an oil soaked generator bay! Nasty cleanup.

Thinking about buying a Prevost? Make sure it has roof airs! I can replace all 3 of ours for about $7-8000 and they should be good for 10-20 years depending upon your usage. Just replaced one about a year ago. Called a local Vegas dealer, came to our site the same day, ordered the unit which took 3 days, installed and done. Try that with ANY cruisair (or aqua-air) unit anywhere in the US and see how it goes. I am not rambling here, our last coach had 3 cruisairs and it was truly the bane of our existence as full timers.

Interesting perspective. Not a big deal since most older DD 2 strokes will pass 40% opacity?
I confess being ignorant about the 40% and how realistic it is to pass. Having asked on many forums, it is crickets whether this is an issue of concern or not.
Your comment that CO regulations put buses through this test and they pass is the first I’ve heard of that.
At least from what I understand, most older 2 strokes do not pass and in CA had to either get a hammer through the block or had to get DPF installed at great expense. There are different pass levels so it is unclear which ones passed without DPF and which did not.
Thanks for the info on CO. I will expend some research tokens looking there.
