Victron Victron Victron. Everything they have is second to none. Current connected is a great resource to buy and help you get everything. Victron components might be a few bucks more but they all integrate together and can do everything you can think of. I have 3 Quattro 5000’s, 2 48V and 1 12V.
The biggest difference is Victron inverters allow you to have a cerboGX and use VRM so for free I can access and manage my entire system from my phone as long as my coach has internet. This means if I want to plug into 15amp shore I can just change the input limit to 15amps on my phone and plug in, if I switch to 50amps, just change it again. Not only does it give me the input power but it’ll boost the input with the inverter as well as transfer power between sources without shutting anything off.
It communicates with my lithium batteries BMS so they set the charging rates for the inverter and solar and allow both chargers to work together. Also works with my 50DN alternator (using a wakespeed) so I can see the alt temp on the screen and how much power its making.
Everything is logged up to every minute for 6 months and can be more over SD card if needed. I know exactly how many watts are from solar, from shore, from generator and which are 12V or 120V. not only in nice pretty graphs but exportable into excel.
gen auto start/stop built in with all kinds of assistants and technology so I can setup when to do what and how. Gen system has a monthly test so if it doesn’t turn on for a month it’ll run for X minutes to make sure it works.
They support all kinds of 3rd party devices including Ruuvi BT sensors and tank sensors, haven’t done tanks yet but have temp sensors so I log my fridge temps, outside, inside, radiator, genny, and water bays. Have a bunch more relays and sensors I haven’t even explored.
The inverters and everything is the best period. They use LF inverters which use minimum power. very solid and stable as well as a 5 year warranty.
Its rare nowadays where you find a company that makes the best and doesn’t try pushing some subscription or overcharge. Seems they listen to their consumers and really set the bar.

I pulled out my original Heart Inverters and installed two Victron Multiplus 3000 Watt Inverters. Very Happy with the Victron Equipment. They are very popular in Europe and slowly taking over the US market. You are starting to see Victron systems installed on New Builds also.

If I did not do Schneider, I probably would have done Victron. Both are great. Schneider bought Xantex a while back, so they inherited a lot of engineering and experience in RV inverters. I’m pretty happy with the Schneider equipment, but I think Victron has a better interface. In fact I’ve been thinking about using their Cerbo GX to monitor everything but the inverter itself.

The CerboGX is insanely useful and probably the most impressive device I’ve bought in a while. I have 2 separate inverter systems (12v and 48v) on my bus and have 2 of these both with screens. I just realized they’re waterproof so about to put the 2nd screen outside next to my 50a outlet so I can quickly switch the input limit or check things. They even make a weatherproof cover.
I just setup victron grafana app so i can build custom dashboards on a screen with all the info. plan on setting up tank monitoring soon.
Love being able to monitor all my power consumption and even change settings all from my phone from anywhere.
