Roy had mentioned earlier that he had been chasing a small air leak in the aux system. Found it!! Evidently the airhorn valve was leaking a small volume through the horns, once the valve let go it got REALLY loud. Once we capped off the air supply to the valve, no more leaky, woohoo.

Not any maintenance but on inspection side.

An important item to check is the air pressure setting on the seal.

I believe Prevost suggest 10 psi. PMI

Our Liberty 45XL has the 2020 & 6 heat exchangers. I think it was built for Alaska! Spent 3 weeks in 20f recently & it will cook the coach at a cost of 0.8 gal of fuel per hr. My opinion is the 2020 is over kill. 2010 seems to be the standard. You must have the heat exchangers to get the heat into the coach & the flow valves set correctly.

That is the ME ME ME attitude that is going on with the younger generation. I see it at work, in politics, everywhere It’s all about ME. MY emotions, and MY way of thinking. They live in a world where there is no one else out there and operate accordingly. And yes, I do think it’s because of the “Participation Trophy.”

And…. I’m quite sure for the younger generation it all seems quite normal for that is all they know!

I’ve wondered… will my kids think a 454 going BLAT BUH BUH BLAT sound cool to them? The smell of unburnt fuel? Or will it be the whine of a brushless electric motor and burning wire insulation that excites them??

You can see Campland across the bay from Mission Bay RV park. I was told that families gravitate to Campland as I think they cater more to families.

Check out ‘www.rvparkreviews.com’ and see what people are saying about parks in the area. That’s my go-to place to get a feel what people say who stayed in the various campgrounds.

I just want to swap out the valve with a replacement, not add more complexity to my coach that requires tablet computers, retinal scan security and a Flux capacitor to determine when to open a pressure release valve 🙂

Ron,

Don’t have a picture but the breather pipe is vertical on the drivers side and terminates in a 1″ x 10″ long rubber hose that extends just below the bottom of the oil pan and is open to the atmosphere. I would like to contain the vapor and drippings. I don’t think I need much oil capacity but do want some sort of baffles or mesh to catch the vapor. Of most concern is the ability to breath easy. I don’t want to create any back pressure on the breather. If there are no simple ones available I will fab something up.

I will look at the Donaldson but really only want a catch can.

I prepaid for 400. went out to the heavy pump and tried to pump . the pump wasn’t working ,went back inside and told them pump wasn’t working they told me is was now and was showing pumping. went back out and pump wasn’t working went back inside and asked for a refund . the. cashier came out and verified the pump wasn’t working , he said to use #2 light, I said what the heck is that never heard of that ever. he said it was the same as heavy but didn’t have all the road tax…. it’s for vehicles under 26500 ….
