Bathroom Door Not Working
I have 4 air doors in the coach. 3 open and close as usual. The double bath doors won’t close and are stuck in the Open position.
I can force both bath doors closed with my hands but they pop right back to the open position. They won’t stay closed. Lots of pressure for sure.
There are 2 bath door buttons and neither of them work.
Any ideas?

With mine, the buttons are controlled through the Node Relays and each button or circuit has a fuse inside the box. You’ll probably have to talk to Marathon to sort it out. In the interim you can open the emergency valve for the 2 doors and manually open and close.

Everytime this happened to me it was after some sort of service and the emergency button was pressed.
The bathroom door emergency button on our bus is behind the little panel that covers the exhaust fan for the toilet room.
Do you hear the click when you press the button??

Everyone keeps talking about behind the mirror in the bathroom by the exhaust fan. Here’s a pic of what’s behind my mirror and I see nothing that looks like an Emergency Switch. Does Marathon label the Emergency Door Button?
And by the way…the door not working right after we left Marathon San Antonio for changing out the magic sewer hose and the green “power is good” lights only.

It’s like an easter egg hunt Jimmy, I have 2 doors in the bath/bedroom and my emergency door release is in my panel.

Converters all tend to do things the way they have always done them, but only to an extent. The systems are always evolving, floor plans change, and some features are not found on all coaches.
While there is no way anyone can possible know where or how Liberty, or Marathon or Millenium or Featherlite located valves, devices or even large components like generators the best anyone can hope for is that someone has something located the same as the person looking. Otherwise it becomes an Easter egg hunt. Not a big deal if what is being sought is not critical, but for example if someone is seeking a valve that will open a door between Tom and his smart phone the problem is serious.
I know I am repeating myself, but as owners we have to take the time to open up panels and doors and any covers to see what is hidden behind them and make notes so we know where stuff is. If we do that it is probable we will never use what we learned, but if we don’t we will wish we did.

I think its in the cabinet where you have towels maybe…in the toilet room…right side of the cabinet

I don’t know why Jeff is still getting up so early but he did find the Easter egg. Looks like someone not only washed and stored the towels but STUFFED the towels in the bathroom cabinet over the Emergency Release button. Voila. Privacy again. Thank you all.

The point of my post was to bust BA’s chops because you need to know what your looking for to find it.
There is no Emergency door closer button in a Marathon.
It is called and labeled Emergency Release.

Everyone needs some kind of “release” from time to time. Marathon owners apparently have “emergency needs” for “release”. I trust it provides the relief they were looking for.
