Many of you know Leon at Marathon in Coburg, the go to guy that can help solve your coach problems who has been helping us all for many years. Leon always finds the time to help and is a terrific person.

He has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Cancer and there is a place to make donations for helping Leon and his family through the tough times ahead. Please view the link below and help support Leon in his time of need.

It was my privilege to meet Leon last year at Marathon. We swapped stories of our time in the military, and I thanked him for his exhaustive assistance to me, over the last 2+ years for my Marathon related issues.

Some of us have sent checks to Marathon Coburg attn Leon. The girls sorting mail are aware of this and Leon has received checks.

You can make the checks payable to Leon Snider.

The family set up the gofundme page and we are only trying to help get the word out.

Anyway you decide to help is greatly appreciated.

My check ($500) was made payable to Leon Snider and sent to Marathon at Coberg direct.

This is another avenue to help this amazing man who helped us so often.

    God Bless you….Mr. Snider.

When we bought our coach, it spent two weeks at Prevost Fort Worth and then several weeks at Marathon Grand Prairie. On one of the trips to Marathon GP while in service, I had an electrical issue after everyone had gone home. I called the Marathon help line, and got Leon on the line. He talked me through the coach reset, and stayed on the line very patiently while I walked around the coach going through the reset procedure. We always got the same service from Leon as if we had bought a brand new Marathon, and we didn’t even buy the coach from Marathon. Our check will go out today.

We need to revisit the ongoing battle our friend Leon from Marathon is having.

He is back in the hospital and chances of him ever returning to work are dim.

I want to thank all who helped earlier and ask all who haven’t to please open your wallets and help his family. If you can give again, please do.

Imagine how many people he has helped in 30 years at Marathon, any type of contribution will be of enormous help to his family.

The link in Truks post seems to be working or sending a check to Marathon to his attention will work too.

    Thank you,

    bv

Although I’ve only owned my Marathon since May, Leon has helped me at least a dozen times without so much as a grumble. Always happy to help. I had no idea about his condition until this thread was resumed. I’ll be contributing gladly.

I talked to Leon last week….what a treasure trove of Marathon/Prevost knowledge. To have such high quality assistance on the other end of a phone call has been a real benefit of Marathon ownership. I’m certain the GoFundMe monies will be put to good use!

    Best Wishes, Leon!!!!

Do not even know him and do not own a Marathon, either. However, I have first hand knowledge of what people and their families go through when cancer shows its ugly face. A good friend of mine for over 30 years is dying of pancreatic cancer. I visited him in the hospital in NH a week ago. He told me he will not see Christmas. He has transferred into hospice care, already. Anyways, I contributed $100 on the Gofundme page. Please help Leon’s family! Thank you!

We own a Prevost conversion by Vision. Been in Colburg many time to have service and repairs. Sometimes without an appointment, always stated to Leon whenever he can work us in, surprisingy, usually with 24 to 36 hours later we were back on the road with quality workmanship. He always had time to discuss problems with a corrective response. We will be forwarding a check to him.

Leon is an outstanding human being who is dedicated to helping customers like us enjoy our days on the road. I had the pleasure of meeting him last October in Coburg and have chipped in to help his family.

Our Dear friend Leon passed away peacefully this morning after a one year fight with cancer.

I don’t have to tell anyone what he meant to the Marathon family and all others who seeked help.

The Go Fund Me page is still live if anyone wants to help the family further and thank everyone who has so generously donated already.

Thank you everyone for your prayers and donations.

I’am sad to read that post.

An amazing person who truly helped make Marathon coaches not very complicated after you spoke to Leon.

    RIP my friend
