Jim:
VFD will have a 10′ cable (extra length can be ordered) so it can be mounted in a dry location.
Units are being put through various test in preparation for production. As we all know, there will be growing pains in the beginning. Aqua-Air is committed to minimizing any issues prior to going to market with the new product. They have a great standing in the marine market place and want to enter the motor home market with a dependable quantity product.

My ISX use the bypass filter on the engine ,but it is for bypassing the filter when the oil gets dirty,it dosen’t clean,I do not like the price of of the magnetic bypass filter on my ISX no oil filter should cost $1300 then $1300 is cheap insurance if it what Cummins wants

9+ yrs ago when I had Cummins powered motorhome(s), I use to build and install a remote mounted engine oil bypass filtration system on them.
Then I bought our Detroit powered Prevost and discovered that Fleetguard made a filter for our 60 series (and many other engines) that is both a full flow and a bypass filter (# LF9620) and that’s what I’ve been using ever since. No need for a separate/remote filter setup. -

Go to the articles section and you can view the manual for the SMX.
The SMX dehumidification program automatically runs the
air handler for a programmed time period to help control
humidity in the boat. The chiller must be in the cool mode for
the humidity control program to work. The dehumidification
program works in 3 stages:
The fan comes on at high speed to circulate air for 10
minutes.
The fan then drops to low speed, and the compressor
cycles on in the cooling mode to dehumidify.
After the dehumidification cycle, the system turns off. The
process repeats according to the programmed time period.

The problem is less about the methods others have used to repair or replace a light, but more about the selection of steel screws instead of either stainless steel sheet metal screws, or the use of threaded nutserts or similar items with machine threads and stainless machine screws.
We all get involved in unplanned projects because we attempt to repair or improve something such as the side marker lights and find we have encountered a situation that needs immediate repair or at least attention.
Should this be added to the list which now includes mirrors, CACs, CAC hoses, cracking plastic on H3 bay doors, skin delam, etc?

For Prevost specifically EGR engines were unstalled in the 2004 model year run.

Dick, what I found was that a non-stainless, non-thread cutting screw had a finer thread than the stainless counterpart. That’s why I had to go with self tapping stainless which has the finer equivalent to what was originally in there as non-stainless.

I think that was a Bernie secret code.

The galley kick heater is controlled with the SMX control. Make sure the 110 v heat switch is on at the breaker panel, then double tap the heat button. The heat light will blink constantly and will be controled with the thermostat. The same is true with the bedroom kick heater.

My wife and I have had four Monacos since 1997. This past March we purchased our first new to us Prevost and have been on Prevost Community since around February. I find all the post very informatinve as well and enjoyable and entertaining to read.
We will be traveling extensivly beginning the Fall of 2015. My wife has sat in for me periodically on long open highway runs. With our impending travels she is wanting to take a driving course in the event my health would fail. Maybe she knows something I don’t. FMCA has had Driver Training periodically at rallies but I have not seen anything yet sponsored by any of the Prevost converters. Any suggestions?
I may need a course on how NOT to be a “back seat driver” as she has been very respectful of my driving. Thanks.
