I need a lesson in the heat and ac on my coach!!!
Whoa.. Update: I found I had turned the breaker off in the electrical panel…duh!!!! I’ll know in the morning if that was the problem. I would think that was it… I still need the lesson!!!
Mornin’, Anyone happen to know how I turn on the kitchen baseboard heat? My 12V heat switch is on in the (bedroom) panel and the SMX heat button was pressed twice and is blinking. But the coach is still chilly…just don’t understand what’s happening. I apparently need a good lesson in the operation of the heating systems on my coach. Thanks for all you guys do.

You have two official sources of heating other than a third one which is to turn up the thermostat for cruise airs to heat a bit. They usually kick out when outside temps are below 40, but if you have the Canadian heat package, your cruise airs will operate down into the teens since they have a heat strip to aid the heat pumps.
Back in the your bedroom panel, you should see the 12V heat button, and a 110V heat button. The 12V is your Webasto diesel fired boiler hot water heat. Your 110V heat is your electric toe kick heaters.Your bathroom will have its own switch for electric toe kick. If you also have “High Heat” on your 12V buttons arrangement, you have the Marathon Canadian Heat Pkg, which ramps up your Webasto based convector fans to super high. Just like your 12V Hotwater heater button which makes the Webasto come on to heat your hotwater heaters only, and your 110V hotwater heater button is for the electric side of the hot water heaters. You can use both.

The galley kick heater is controlled with the SMX control. Make sure the 110 v heat switch is on at the breaker panel, then double tap the heat button. The heat light will blink constantly and will be controled with the thermostat. The same is true with the bedroom kick heater.

Did you get it working? If not, I can probably help you with a programming function that may be the problem. The SMX panels have to have the correct setting to work with the Marathon 12 and 120v heat. Al had a similiar problem and we got him up and running.
