  • Exceeds expectations

Posted by Chuck on October 8, 2014 at 9:54 pm

when a person or a company exceeds our expectations many times we don’t have a way of letting the relevant world know. Not so tonight. I have a 1986 Liberty XL that “scorched” the electrical head of the generator. My coach is for sale on this site and while I wanted to fix it right I didn’t want to invest my retirement fund doing it. I paid a local guy $3,000 to rebuild the rotor and armature. After many attempts to get it right I threw in the towel went on the hunt for a different solution. On the internet I found PDG (Powerhouse Diesel Generators) – http://www.powerhousedieselgenerators.com- in Valdosta, Georgia. I live in Connecticut but after several conversations with Scott Tyler (the owner) I decided to give them a try. I drove to Georgia and they installed a new, larger capacity head on my existing generator (saving me about $5,000) for less than he had estimated over the phone with a level of service and attention to detail that was simply above and beyond. If you have a generator problem Scott and his team can do it all, from a simple repair to a complete diesel generator installation and you can know that he will see that it is done with competence, honesty and integrity. His company, PDG, is located at 4498 ValNorth C, Valdosta, Georgia, 31602. Phone is 229-444-1118. This is a guy that “gets it” when understanding customer service comes first. If you are not as pleased as I am with the service I will be amazed. Chuck Hancock

    Chuck,

That sounds like a service facility that you should place a “Pin” on the PC map. That way when anyone else has a generator problem they can find the information on the map.

I agree with Will. Pin it and we will approve it right away. Valdosta is along a route heavily travelled by a lot of our members so knowing where good generator service is available will benefit a lot of our members.

Sorry guys, I don’t speak computer. What does “pin” it mean and how do I do it? If it will help this company and our subscribers I will do it as in my opinion this was a great find. P.S. , the last thing I pinned was my girlfriend in high school and that didn’t work out. 🙂 or :(, depending on how you see it.

    Hello Chuck,

I just have to ask, was that “Pin” more fun than your last “Pin”.

    Chuck,

We asked that you put it on the PC map, will you do that?

First to Paul. Definitely the first was more fun. At least I knew what I was trying to do, even if it didn’t work out. To Tom, I was so proud of myself when I found a way to put a pin on a map using my PC, now I assume from your response that I pinned the wrong map (kind of like I pinned the wrong girl). I’m the guy you had to help post pictures of my coach in my for sale ad. Definitely not a computer wiz. So how do I pin a PC map?

Tom, I think I got it. Let me know if it looks ok. Feel free to edit it if you need to. Thanks, Chuck

Woo Hoo, you nailed it Chuck, now all you have to do is add as many items to the map that you can.

Each entry gets you another free year of dues…..
