So is Prevost the ONLY qualified inspection source? Do they use specialized equipment or do they have a greater level skill to determine problems.

Karl, get off Netflix! 😉 of course not needing the internet to run your coach has its benefits 🙂

You’ll need a home run circuit for the heater Tim.

Dont know the specifics of the electric grey dump valve, but our grey bypass uses a standard dump valve with an air piston attached to it. When I park for a while, I simple remove the outside double nut that attaches the piston to the dump valve handle and manually work the valve.
I do this as to keep the dump/bypass valve open, you need to apply air. If you have leak of any size in that piston/line/fittings, then keeping the air open will simple cause your air comp to run more often. Every dump valve (electric or air opererated) should allow for a manual over ride. Anything else is piss poor engering.

Tom,
I just sent an email to Leon to see what he thinks about replacing the toll window motor is that require the dash to be removed or if it can be done from the outside.
I also asked if this would be best done at a Marathon shop or by Prevost.
I will post what he respond

Doug, you might have mentioned you were buying the bus and spared yourself my droning on about my Marathon. Enjoy my old storage space, want to get in early?
-
When we built our barn for the bus I had originally decided on 12′ wide doors, fortunately a friend suggested going with 14′ wide.. I took his advice. Go with the widest door possible, you’ll be glad you did when you’re backing the bus in at night or after a long trip.

Trying to reserve a parking spot for a week or more can be difficult if the reservation includes weekend days. This is because many “weekend campers” are reserving weekend days & nights far ahead throughout the summer months. So far in our travels this summer, we’ve found that getting a parking site on week days/nights has been fairly easy but we have had to pay up for premium sites on the weekend as they are less likely to be reserved by the weekend campers. But I do believe the commercial RV parks are busier this summer especially in heavy tourist traffic locations. Don’t even think about getting a weekend parking spot in most state and national parks as those are booked up months in advance. We just paid near $70 per night for a so called “premium site” at at KOA this last weekend.

I have had the same problem….tried everything and just now read an article about removing AdBlocker and it worked.

Jeff do you think I can run on 3 units until I get to you in mid July or do you not work on the cruise air systems.

Thanks for the information on Phoenix. Rather than tell me no, Freightliner in Avondale ignored me after I made a serval requests requests for a service writer. to look at my 60 series. The outlet was an RV Oasis but they want Freightliner business only. Another place in Phoenix for llight DD work is All Aboard America bus company in Mesa.

Dan,thanks for the offer! Don’t know if I’ll be on days on or off when you roll through, but here’s my number anyway. Would at least like to meet you and talk coaches for awhile. Thanks again! 970-371-3853

OK all you smart-asses out there !!
I did tighten it from the top as Karl (thanks) suggested…it was loose to the point that I thought I would have to hold the bolts to tighten it up… in the back of my mind I was wanting to change it out for the newer auto or soft close seat and when it got really loose I thought that would be the time to address doing just that… however was happy enough to have it tightened up and it is still like new… we have an access panel on the back wall that I think I may be able to reach down to the bolts but haven’t checked out that possibility yet… just happy to have it tight for now.
FYI … our Vantare seat had no access either… so def not a Liberty only problem !!!
Cheers… Diane
