keyless entry
was at coach and all of a sudden put in code and will not open. Buttons light up but nothing happening. Does anyone know how to trouble shoot or part numbers for new system. I beleive somewhere here i heard ford supplied the parts for prevost keyless. As well where the parts are located?

Ford parts, Prevost more than likely would sell you a updated system as the module used on your coach I do not think they can get any more….You can search online for ford keyless….The module will be behind dash panel passanger side…does the lock portion function?

jeff, dont know. I never used it to lock. Just open. I can try mext time at coach. Also have you look at it when i come in july to see you. Ps. How do i lock it?

Last two buttons on right at same time locks it.

Check the two relays behind the dash on passenger side or the door actuator behind door panel of key pad or control box behind dash on passenger side panel

I was at bus today and took advise from mark on how to lock door with keyless by hitting last two buttons and it did lock. But still will not unlock. I think peter is right. Probally a relay? I just dont even know what they look like. Thanks Mark for info on how to lock. I will try to figure out where relay is. If anyone has info on this please let me know. Thanks

Can you hear anything in the door when you try to unlock it? Ive seen the actuator be weak and lock but not unlock also…

Jeff, I do not hear anything. When it worked last month it was working strong. Not weak at all.

sorry guys, my wife informed me if I were to use the correct code. Door lock works fine. Talk about feeling stupid !!

Victor, don’t even think of beating yourself up over that.
In the overall scheme of stupid Prevost owner tricks that is so far down the list it won’t even move the dumb trick needle.
There were no injuries, no cost, and if you want I can delete your post so there is no proof.

I think it’s better for others to learn from. I wonder how many times prevost owners think something is broken only to find out we just didnt know how to use it and or follow directions or use the darn owner’s manual?? I am guilty of all the above

tattoo a ‘S’ on your forehead, you will have to get in line behind me. I recently had a door problem as well.A friend is out on his 6 month annual journey, so I am
parked in his spot at his house hooked to his 50 amp. About 6 weeks ago I was doing some LED work
on the parking lights. Left his place
went home and returned about a week later.
Door worked fine. Went over
yesterday and the little red LED blinking telling me the door is locked and the
alarm is on was blinking away, but I could not unlock the door with my code. Pressing 7/8 9/0 together did not activate
the lock solenoid, and the key fod did nothing as well, so something was definitely wrong with my electric lock. I used my key, unlocked, went inside and
checked all switches and everything else I could think of … nothing. I sat in the driver’s seat, switched the
ignition and master switch, nothing, no tell-tale lights … nothing. Duh (slaps fore head). Batteries, Dead, Dead. Just enough to blink that little red led.When I had installed and tested the LED parking lights I
failed to turn off the parking light switch.
After about three weeks, no more electrons were available to flow. Why didn’t
the battery charger keep the batteries charged?
Charger receptacle hooked to a switch that says something to the effect
of “Systems w/o switches” and I had turned that switch off.I am thinking of having the “S” tattooed on my fore head in
Old English script.
