is the valve air operated or electric? could be as simple as no air….

Could be that the clamp has worked itself loose on the stem of the valve such that it doesn’t open although the motor is turning.
In a pinch, you can undo the clamp and still open the valve manually, at least this worked on our Liberty.
Good luck…

according to Kim it’s not making any noise….I wonder if there’s a breaker associated with it ?

I replaced on electric actuator last year on my black dump valve. That said it used the coach for several months and manually emptied the tank. There is a small cotter pin that releases the lever from the actuator.

Gdaddy,
If it’s like this, all Kim has to do is unbolt and slide the valve manually assuming it’s electric.

Does anyone know the source for the dump valve actuator Tom has pictured above? I replaced one of mine a few years back and now the other one has given up.

TG, it’s called an Auto Drain. I believe I got mine through Amazon.

It’s a company called Baker Industries.

They sold ms stuff direct. -
Dont know the specifics of the electric grey dump valve, but our grey bypass uses a standard dump valve with an air piston attached to it. When I park for a while, I simple remove the outside double nut that attaches the piston to the dump valve handle and manually work the valve.
I do this as to keep the dump/bypass valve open, you need to apply air. If you have leak of any size in that piston/line/fittings, then keeping the air open will simple cause your air comp to run more often. Every dump valve (electric or air opererated) should allow for a manual over ride. Anything else is piss poor engering.

Amazon is where we bought ours. And i bought two cause you know the other will fail unless you have a spare!

On Amazon, what’s it’s actual name? Auto Drain? Dump Valve Actuator?

Tom and Bill,
Did you get the rose petal adaptor too? On a Liberty, the rose petals will flood out those gates without the adaptor.
