Dick, I never flew behind a Garmin primary flight display, but I used the 430/530 navcoms pretty extensively for IFR flight. It’s just a night and day difference in their product lines. Obviously, the pricing is vastly different too, but even the portable aviation units were pretty outstanding. I still have a 696 in a box somewhere. Not sure why, since my last PIC flight was in 2015.
In fairness, some of the useless voice commands were with a regular Garmin car GPS. I swear someone went out of their way to make “left” sound like “right” on those things. I literally tossed it out of my window at one point, but stopped to pick it up so nobody else would try to use it.

Bob, I can’t speak to the Liberty Coach, but I do have a SpaceMaker on my boat that I removed last night to get to some wires. Look for screws going through the left and right sides of the coffee maker into the cabinetry. If you remove the decanter and filter basket on the left, and the “supply” pitcher on the right, there shouldn’t be any screws visible on the sides from the factory. Mine has two on each side holding it in the cabinet. Obviously, a boat is not a bus, but the systems and installations are often nearly identical.

Jeff,
I had my cylinder rebuild by a hydraulic shop here is the local area by someone that has been in the business for 40 years (family business). He did a great job some of the seals may need to be replaced with updated materials because you probably won’t be able to find exact match compositions. But any good hydraulic shop should be able to get you back in business with that leaking cylinder. After getting it back together and setting the center mine works perfectly with no leaks. I love it.

Hidden 75,
If you are only seeking a replacement compressor at this time, this is it. Also, go by superheat, not supercooling for CruiseAir units.
Note: the below compressor, a direct fit, is 12K BTU vs the 14K BTU in original and now unavailable compressor. Consequently, it will draw approx 2 less amps

I believe I read many years ago that POR-15 was originally developed as a concrete paint. I’m not sure if that is true, but I do know that it is extremely tough stuff. Once you put it on, you will likely need a grinder or chisel if you ever want to remove it. About 25 years ago I applied it to the frame and underside of a vintage pickup. Some of the metal was sandblasted, and the rest was gone over extensively with a wire wheel. I applied two coats with a small roller and it adhered to the metal like glue. The paint looks as good today as the day it was put on. Wear a respirator in a well vented area!

Mikee did you know Jim Nemec? He sold quite a few MU-2s in the 70’s and 80’s. First as a salesman for a dealer, then for Mitsubishi direct out of Clintonville WI and then Indianapolis. He then became involved in Jet Air of Clintonville and Green Bay.

To follow up and close out this discussion, I bought the California Air Compressor 2010 A. I think I made a great choice. I was lucky enough to have had Art Twaddell service my Webasto here in Paso Robles. I had ordered the compressor but it had not yet arrived. I asked Art if I could also hire him to swap out the 2 compressors since my neck is still immobilized from surgery. He agreed and other than having to get an extended air line for the output from the compressor it was pretty much just a matter of changing a couple fittings and sliding the new compressor in place.
The specs are much better than the Thomas and the sound is substantially lower. I also think the aluminum air tank will be beneficial compared to watching all that rusty water coming out when the tank needs drain.
Thanks to this group for the great participants and many thanks to Art for his help in getting the compressor up and running!
