I have no air in any of my aux system at present, but the slide seal gauge is still showing 10 psi. Must be a check valve is working properly.
My 02 Marathon was simple, a yellow valve to mix Prevost and Marathon aux air if needed.
My 04 is different due to the slide I assume, I have 2 valves and neither are yellow. I’m still learning the system. Would be nice if Marathon would provide the pneumatic drawing, there’s no secret proprietary stuff in air lines.

We were in Utah and had a long way to go so I took it to the local GMC dealer and it just so happens this is a common problem. They said there was a service bulletin which just requires a reprogram and has worked ever since.

I was having the same problem with my Amana refrigerator. Replaced the evaporator fan motor and the defrost thermostat and corrected the problem. Ordered both parts from Amazon:
Whirlpool 10513803 Evaporator Motor – $44.32
Whirlpool R0161088 Defrost Thermostat – $34.18

It looks impossible for me to get to Nashville this week. I understand the importance of getting the SCA ratio correct and I will not proceed without doing so. I would like to be able to do it myself And get the coolant/water mix closer to 50/50 so I can keep moving. If that is possible, then I can get it flushed and filled a little later.
Help me out with the math and feasibility of my plan, please.
My memory is fuzzy, but I am thinking the coolant capacity is 17 gallons. I lost 10 gallons or so and replaced it with 10 gallons of water. That means I have 7 gallons of 50/50 mixture now mixed with 10 gallons of water. That is 3.5 gallons of coolant and 13.5 gallons of water or about 20/80.
IF I drained 5 gallons of this mix that would leave 12 gallons at 20/80 which by my calculations is about 2.5 gallons of coolant and 9.5 gallons of water. (I know I can drain about 5 gallons by removing the hose from one of the valves just forward of the radiator.)
If I added 5 full strength gallons of the Correct coolant, that would bring the mix to 7.5 gallons of coolant and 9.5 gallons of water, a whole lot closer to 50/50 than I am now.
After idling I could then check the SCA level and add the proper amount of concentrate and be on my way.
I do value your input.

Very nice bus Tom and at $80,000 certainly isn’t overpriced. Seems like the 85’s through 95’s are priced anywhere from $45,000 to $125,000.
Good luck Tom but my feeling is you’ll not need it. I hope you’re staying with us on the roads of the Good Ol USA…

Art,
As mentioned, you did an excellent job.
I have to ask, why did you want to remove the paint?

Maybe it is registering twice, seems high. I can easily get close to 60 amps with 2 airs on and microwave. SOP for us while plugged in is to shut off the bedroom a/c while doing dinner if we’re nuking. I don’t worry if we’re on the gen…never had a problem.

Dick…
Jeff had 2 sets made up to this point. He installed one set on his coach, and we got the other. I understand that now he has his sourcing locked down for the LEDs and the stainless surround, he will be offering them to anyone interested. Might want to check with him next time you call…they definitely get more attention than the stock lights, and are worth the price of admission, IMO.

Good video’s Andy!
Just wondering how many AGM batteries Nelson is using to get the power he is talking about. The weight must be enormous.
Safe travels,
Mark
