  • When Momma’s happy…

Posted by Deleted User on May 24, 2018 at 3:12 pm

And she’s over the moon ecstatic!! Thanks to Jeff & the crew!!

We stopped in for some tires & routine a/c work. Jeff showed us what he had done recently to his coach, and that’s all it took. We wound up replacing the original table with a much more functional counter space, and changing the dishwasher (which we never used) to a stack of deep, fully accessible drawers. We’ve been full time for nearly 6 years, and really regret not doing this much, much sooner. The added space and “livability” brought about with the changes is nothing short of amazing. Karen is on at least the 3rd galley reorg since Johnny finished up the drawer space yesterday!! But as I said, she’s happy, happy, happy!!

Oh yeah, I almost forgot…Fathers Day is coming, so Karen decided we needed some new LED tail lights for BoB while we were at it!!

Guys, it just don’t get much better than this!! 😉

Our thanks to Jeff & his guys. They did an outstanding job!!

    Mike,

You know getting that bar for Karen made her happy, but cost me money. Ann won’t be happy until she get the booth replaced now.

    Sure does look good.

Mike: Where did you get the new LED taillights from?

    Dick…

Jeff had 2 sets made up to this point. He installed one set on his coach, and we got the other. I understand that now he has his sourcing locked down for the LEDs and the stainless surround, he will be offering them to anyone interested. Might want to check with him next time you call…they definitely get more attention than the stock lights, and are worth the price of admission, IMO.

    Looks great Mike!

We would not have ordered our Bus with a dishwasher, but since we have one, we always use it. Go figure …

Hope to see you guys again at a Rally in the future.

Ours came with a new dishwasher… we have never used it… but it’s for great storage.. it has 2 drawers above it so I don’t feel its wasted space at all and if I did need it it’s there. Since we don’t cook on the road right now it’s useless …. however if we were full timers I would use it all the time.

    Cheers, Diane

Karen did use the dishwasher for cereal, cracker, and wine storage but nothing else. She didn’t even try it for washing dishes when we first got the coach. The new drawers simply allow much denser and better space utilization – no wasted space for motors, heating elements, or sliding rack configuration inside the dishwasher. And the way Johnnie constructed the drawers, they’re strong enough to handle some of those gold bars that Tom & Jon are rumored to be hauling around in their basement…so if you guys run out of room for all the gold bars, we’ll be happy to volunteer a bit of space… 😉

Based on the amount of dues money Tom and I collect, and subsequently convert into gold bars it is evident I will not be running out of bay space anytime soon.

Thank goodness for my garden because Di and I are so poor we have to grow our own food.

Yeah, but what about all that expensive whiskey that creates the fertilizer for the food you grow? Geo.

We don’t need whiskey to create fertilizer. It is obvious from some of the posts on here there is a never ending supply of fertilizer available.

Mike is spot on. I have seen the upgrades and he has plenty of room to store valuables (anyone’s), gold bars, diamonds, Krugerrands, coins from spanish treasure ships and the like.

Rent is cheap, will convert valuables for a tank of fuel once a week and a bag of Dog Chow !

He and Karen also travel with a highly trained guard K9 unit, aka Lucky Dog.
