Brian from Tradewinds coach talked me through “Waking” up the inverters. Wasn’t easy but after four option we got them back. Will see if my batteries take a charge.???? Very grateful to those guys right now! Tons of knowledge and I learned a lot!

You can go all the way to Key West. As mentioned, it gets pricey the farther you go. Blue Water Key is a beautiful high end resort around mile marker 14 IIRC but I think it’s close to $200/night. There is a park in Key West if you can get in. There are several parks farther out if you want to save a bit but I have to say I love BWK for the convenience and beauty.

Ok so i am getting close here to figuring out my Bus paint. From what i have found out my Bus was painted at Prevost with Indian Silver Metallic then sent to Country Coach for the rest of the paint. Harbor Freight has a $9.99 spray gun i am going to purchase to run some tests. I have some areas along the roofline i am going to reshoot then the clearcoat.

@Mike regarding your testing with a jack, when your bus adds air does it pull from the accessory air tank or immediately turn on the aux air compressor?

Even assuming it’s not 110 outside like it is here in Vegas, and depending upon roof air or cruisair, the 15-20 amps per A/C unit is going to put you at 60-80 amps before ANY of the other loads. Continuous loads at that level could cause breakers to trip around 80 amp (80% of rated capacity). A/C without some kind of soft start is also going to have short lived high amp surges which could also trip a fully loaded breaker. Of course, there is also the water heater, battery chargers, cooktop and fridge also fighting for a taste of that power. Overload either side and both breakers trip. It’s not really that hard to do in these coaches but trying to keep it all in balance AND run 4 A/C at the same time would appear to be a pretty daunting challenge.

Okay replaced the bad switch and performed evac. Everything checked out no leaks and started the re-charge, but during re-charge after a couple of pounds the high pressure side stayed below 50 psi. Per the XL manual driver’s air takes 6 lbs freon. So after re-charge of 6 lbs the high pressure side still remained below 50 psi, but I did have cold air, not ice cool but it was cold. Upon research it sounds like it could be the compressor internal valve? The clutch was engaged and it did take suction of all the freon. Any A/C guru’s out there for some insight?

The coach is a 2010 H3-45 Double slide with bunks. The original ask was 699K, now down to 515K.
My business is purchasing and selling business jets, hence the sell concerns. In our business we cant give away a business jet with high time. Like the diesel coaches, these jets are designed to fly for 50,000 plus hours. Unfortunately, buyers do not see that value and look at the aircraft like cars, desiring the lower hour options.
I think the ask price is reasonable, we just know for a fact we will want to get into a newer coach in the future and would like a rough idea of what number will work to move it when that time comes.

You didn’t mention if the current owner is asking a ridiculous price for said coach. Perhaps that is the reason it’s not selling. It appears to me, coaches around the 150-250k mark are selling no problem. I assume this coach is much higher than that which limits the potential buyers.
Back in Jan when I was looking, I couldn’t jump on one fast enough before it was gone. I’m lucky to have found this one and was the first to jump on it.

Thank you everyone for your comments. The limited options for bank loans is the one that scares me most, limits my ability to sell the coach as fewer people have the ability to pay cash. Love the immediate response from members.

Probably not but that is one valve that is tied in to all tanks, next to it the TW-1 valve for lifting the tag is just tied into the aux tank
