Route suggestions to Jackson Wy
Next week we will be in the redwoods in Northern California. Will be using Crescent City as base camp during that stay. Then we will be heading east to Grand Tenton National Park in Wy. Looking for route advise from Crescent City Ca to Jackson Wy. App is giving me two options, one going across southern Or into Boise ID then across ID into Wy. And the other is taking me across Northern CA into Reno NV to pick up the I80 then head north at Wells NV on highway 93 into ID then over to WY. The Route across OR is about 150 miles shorter, but not sure of how bus friendly the highways are thru OR vs thru Northern CA and Northern NV.
Any thoughts for those of you that have traveled those areasThanks

We are coming up from Southern Ca thru Cedar City Ut, Then Rock Springs WY, Then Jackson on the 26th of this month.

we are planning to be in the Jackson area by the 28th. Still need to lock in RV spot. Where are you staying at?
Looks like I will be taking the route thru OR & ID, then will be looping south because of the Tenton Pass closure.Alex

Fireside Resort on the 26th, then up to Mountainside KOA in West Yellowstone 27th,and 28th, then we are heading up to Townsend MT to Moochdock for a couple days with friends before we hit Devils Tower, Sturgis, and Mount Rushmore area.

Looks like we will miss by a few days. The only place that had availability for me is Alpine. We will be there from 28th – 2nd then will be heading South into Utah to spend some time at the canyons.
