Crestron Go – Access using VPN ?
I switched out the Cisco router to an Asus AX-6100 mesh router in our Marathon Coach for better internet access while using the Crestron Go app on my iPad and iPhone (this app controls coach functions). Has anyone successfully deployed a VPN network setup on their coach router so the Crestron Go app can be used while miles away from the coach? Any advice appreciated.

The 5gstore.com has a statip ip thru verizon for $12 a month – 1 gb. Each additional gb is $10. I pnly want to use this remotely so i can check on my coach remotely when in storage or if i forget my awnings out or i want to see battery voltage. Thanks for the inquiry.

Were you ever setup with PWS?
They are 750 per month for 10 GB and severe overage.
It takes just under 10g a month to run my bus and have remote access.
I run another hot spot for all streaming and surfing and work.

Swapped out the Cisco Router in the coach due to the iPads losing Wi-Fi signal to control the Crestron system with an Asus Mesh router. Put main router under the bed (where the Cisco router was located) and put the mesh router under the dishwasher. Signal strength is awesome and no more losing Wi-Fi signal on the iPads. Additional benefit – Crestron app loads super fast. Then I opened forwarding ports on the Asus router so I can remotely log into the coach when miles away using cellular service. I bought a static ip from Verizon thru the http://www.5g store.com for $12 a month and placed the Verizon sim in the Sierra Wireless GX450 modem permanently mounted on the coach. Works like a dream.
