After checking the specs, it looks like the 115v version is not nearly as capable, only 0.5GPM @60PSI, 1.5GPM for the 12 and 24V versions. So maybe I just use the AC circuit (and remote switches) to drive a AC-coil relay to turn on/off a 12V or 24V DC circuit.

Scary Stuff here:

Even my ’88 Country Couch had 2 cables running from the alternator and there was only 1 battery bank (could have been changed before I bought it). There was a 24V and 12V alternator, both belt driven.

My bulkheads are fine. My freshwater tank overflow tube is re-routed through the floor of basement to the ground, not down the rear bulkhead wall. Did the same thing to my 95.

Carol and Tom: Our Prevost is our first RV of any kind. Read all the posts closely, keeping in mind there are a thousand or more Prevost owners on the PC Forum. Many post only when they have a problem.
If you can’t engage one of the expert inspectors to inspect a coach you’re looking at, an experienced Forum member near the subject coach is a possible option for you. Many of us will work for food and cocktails.
Good luck with your search! Keep us posted.

What Tom is showing in his pictures is a MAC solenoid Valve. Yours may or may not be a MAC, but if you are using a push button to actuate it, there will be a solenoid under the drivers seat. Follow the lines back and you will find it. Once you locate it, you will find it has 3 air lines, one is supply, and the other two are for extend and retract. This one Tom is showing in the picture has built in Flow controls.

Thanks Jeff, it looks good, need to look at how to permanently stick it to the door. I believe ceiling will be easier using screws, same for side, will have to look when getting to the coach, it is a start…

To keep my Merchant Marine license current, I have to participate in a fire fighting class every 5 years. Each time the instructor shows a video of a extension cord short that catches a curtain on fire, which intern sets the room on fire. The big take away is it only takes 3 minutes from the spark to the fire totally engulfing the room. The instructor always reinforces the fact that you basically have less than 3 minutes to get most fires under control.
Run don’t walk for the nearest fire extinguisher.

Engine degreaser and a pressure washer is a good start. To get the final greasy film off this stuff (from Walmart) is amazing. I thought brake cleaner was good but this product literally makes greasy gunk fly off surfaces.

If your house battery’s are dead you will have to get power back in them before your inverters will come back on.

Dick:
I live in Arlington Ridge community in Leesburg, FL. The builder built 48 homes with a 60′ x 20′ bus barns attached to the houses with the ability to customize further if needed. All have 16′ ceilings. Some neighbors chose to extend the depth to 80′ and 25′ width. All came with 14′ door which is adequate although some neighbors widened to 16′ width door.
The end result as time has passed and we all have compared notes is:
BIGGER IS BETTER. After seeing the 80′ deep garages you realize you can have your towed ready to go behind your bus, the 25′ wide barns give you room to have your slideouts in the out position with plenty of room to still have Stuff on the walls and still have room to walk a round. Although the 14′ wide door is more than adequate, the 16′ wide door gives you a little more wiggle room when maneuvering in or out
