I just put new tires on mine and balanced them and use balance master rings that way u r good to go make sure if they balance them and they use the stick on ones on the inside that they do not hit the calipers on the inside. I just had mine aligned at prevost I would never put new tires with out alignment done on it had it done at prevost Cal there is a great shop near marathon that does that ask them the shops name mine drove ok but was way out of alignment my peterbilt drives nicer than the bus one finger to go down road maybe not as smooth but less work pulling 300000 pound trailer plus 19000 pound truck now the bus drives nice. There are no weights on the outside of wheels only on inside on mine

Nope, it is not you. This site is geting busier. One reason may be that POG is so useless these days that people who want information are coming here where they can get it. Jon & Tom are doing a wonderful job, and the information available here is first rate.

The weight ticket is in the records. I weighed each axle side to side so you have 6 wheel position weights. Full of fuel, water and all our junk, everything was good. The Michelin tire chart using those weights + 5 psi resulted in tire pressures of 105, 95, 85, for steer, drive and tag.

I had peterbilt with c13 with 430 horse 1650 torque truck 19500 lbs trailer 30000 lbs had meritor freedom in it drove truck and trailer 500,000 miles top speed 80 mph to 55mph on highway the best I ever got was 11 mpg the worst I got was 6mpg never had truck in shop for one thing in 8 years but to service it the best thing I have ever owened that motor and trans where a great combo people say they have had problems with that trans but I never did I think it’s the driver.The only thing that would go wrong on truck was back sleeper air bags would get hole in them just about every 3 years I would put two new ones on every 3 years because they are in the sun always.also had the C7,C9,and a 3116 drove about the same miles on all of them the best was the C13 not enough torque on the others .did test on C13 raised it to 475 horse 1650 torque mpg went down bye as much as 2 mpg went back to 430 horse to 1650 that was the best ,horse power burns fuel torque moves the load

Like anything else. Maybe Ken’s advice will help me push 9-10mpg. I had to put gears in anyway. My tank hold’s 250 Gal(max) so useable could =several nites camping between 7 mpg and say 9. Plus it’s a challange….for the heck of it! Bob

Sorry guys.
If you think you can cite a consumption per hour you also expect someone to define how high is up.
Are you heating the engine as well as the coach interior? How cold is it outside? Is it night or is the sun shining? Is the wind blowing? What temperatures are the thermostats set to?
There are so many factors that influence fuel burn that every single time the Webasto is used its fuel consumption is going to vary.

Thanks for the kind words, Jon. Glad you like the bedspread. We enjoyed working on something new and different for a change and look forward to more coach work. We feel it will be a definite advantage to have us come to the work rather than dropping your coach off at a shop. Our car builder clients like the idea of being more involved in the day-to-day developments.
Our plan is to get on the road this spring. Hopefully that will work out. Once that happens we will be available for more work like Jon’s. We will be taking a full shop with us and will have all the fabrication ability our customers have come to expect.

Inside heigth is 86 inches and I have 4 ribs so what you have said has confirmed my assumptions. I talked to David at IBP and he said he never had clear answer to that question but could make me the sideing I need from the drawings. I need it for the slides and to repair fire damage. I just checked the 89 and it has 2 ribs and is 80 inches inside. Life is good. When the Ah Ha light comes on. . Enjoying sunny Florida till April! Going to save freight and take sideing for 98 home with me. Thanks Bob
