If Joe can get a good place to store a bus, I think a Prevost (maybe a Marathon) is in his future.

Mother’s works great. We did the entire coach (by hand, no buffer) when we bought it and while it has dulled a bit in the last 18 years, it still looks great. I would like to do it again but I need to hire someone to do it this time. It took about a week to do the entire coach.

It is not even mentioned in the TX class B. Good thing since I don’t have any idea what you are referring to! I push the pedal and the coach stops. That’s all I know!

When you get a house or apartment do you have to prove you came from a bus that was 10 years old or less?

What exactly will an oil mister benefit? This isn’t air operated tools that need lubrication, it is a bus whose air systems need to be clean and dry.

Harry, Mr Mark. I checked with our agent today. All insurance companies talk with one another. Although we have had a single repair claim on the bus two years ago, we’ve had 53 claims last year from roof hail damage. This all counts against us. Doesn’t matter if our business’s roof aren’t with progressive, it still dings us big time. Colorado has had an inordinate Number of weather related insurance claims. Those Poor people in latest storm disasters areas will see their premiums get screwed to the wall too!

You’ve already heard from those who know what their talking about and thought maybe it was time you hear from someone who doesn’t.
All I want to add is we all know what we MUST have and then settle into what we actually buy. I’m not saying we don’t know what we want as much as to say that something different can be pretty enticing as well. I believe the first decision we all need to make is;
Money: You already have a coach and you know RV-ing so advice isn’t needed there. But that doesn’t mean there aren’t things to think about? Each one of us on the forum have different financial considerations and deal differently with our money and the way we choose to use it. I for one have untold millions and spend it as haphazardly as possible always needing more – more – more of everything! Then my wife wakes me up and says “you’re hallucinating” allowing me to get back to reality and my deadbeat status.
Slides: Before you jump in and say “of course I need slides”, walk on into a Prevost, not some other coach, a Prevost, and what do you think? Not enough room you say? Great go for the slides!
40 or 45 feet: Same thing here, look at a 40’ Prevost and what do you think? Too small, can’t sleep on a queen”? Question answered, get a 45 footer.
My coach as you see in my bio is a 91, a relic by some standards and a classic by others. But who cares, I like it and it does exactly what I want it too both on the road (terrific) and off (terrific)! I had a coach on order with three slides and one was a full wall slide, lots of room lots of stuff. Then I saw someone’s old beat up (kidding about the beat up, it was gorgeous) 1993 Prevost and thought “WoW, that’s ah one ah spicy meat-ah-ball”!
I know when I drive off in my bus, if I do my job (don’t drive like a crazy person) my bus will do its job… The other thing I know is a Prevost conversion is the best built pleasure platform on the road. If God forbid there’s an accident, I’ll take the Prevost for me and mine every time. And MK maybe that’s the point of my entire boring diatribe here. Don’t have an accident, you buy a Prevost you think you can love and then love it!

With my “RV full-timers” package, I always get the feed out of NY. But, I usually get the local channels, in HD, with the Winegard Razor. It’s been terrific.
I’m in Avon Park, FL right now and still get my local channels out of Tampa, some 85 miles NW of my current locals. Outstanding!

I’ve learned Prevost Service has been contacted, parts ordered, have set up a service date, Prevost will drop ship new gear box, with all new belts.
Starting batteries at 5 years old will also be replaced with 4/ 7234 NAPA. Saved $600 per battery using NAPA-AITA PC card.
Bus owner says Prevost Service has been very easy to work with to have repairs done on site.
Here is side note….An owner of a 7 year old plastic coach questioned factory help on a coach over 10 years old receiving factory support ?
Something we Prevost owners take for granted and 100% not available to many plastic RV owners.
