I may not have all this right but here’s my understanding.

I just spoke to Clarke and they have the new ECM installed but it’s not recognizing the accelerator. The ECM they replaced did not show the engine code for my engine, meaning who worked on it last didn’t put it in or notate it or something. So they are trying to get the engine code from another source and i’m to call them back in 30 minutes.

IMO, Sounds like there are 2 problems. #1) A leaky something? on the aux system(which in my world is normal), and #2) a bad aux system pressure protection valve.

There are two pressure pretection valves(PR-2) on my bus. One on the manifold block that insures at all times a minimum pressure, roughly 75 psi, in the suspension air system in the event that a pressure drop occurs in either the suspension air system or aux air system. The other valve is installed on the aux air tank, and insures a minimum pressure, roughly 75 psi, in the aux system in the event that a pressure drop occurs in either the suspension system or braking system.

    Here’s a pdf manual for PR-2, PR-3, and PR-4. http://www.bendixvrc.com/itemDisplay.asp?documentID=5986

PR-2 valves range in price at FindItParts.com from $13 to $40. They’re adjustable too.

    Hindsight is often 20/20.

Harry: Do you know if the mechanic bench tested the starter BEFORE he rebuilt it? Was it really inoperative? Or did he simply rebuild it not knowing whether it was working or not.

Page 7 of the manual shows port locations on the filter assembly. You can use that to determine where the lines should go.

The guys are Arnie and his daughter. Only place to wash is here, don’t go to any of the truckstops on the way in. Call him 2 days out because your coming at peak season and you’ll be a day ahead of Sid.

They know what they are doing.

Don’t go past Indio, you won’t get a good wash anywhere west of there.

Call Donald at Dynamic 707 477 5372, they do all the buses at MCCC. Tell him you know me and Sid and he will know what to expect. I am sure he can arrange a place right off the freeway like All Inside storage to meet. Call a day or 2 out, they only have 5 man crew in summer.

If he doesn’t answer call Alexandria 208 412 0790, when I left home last week they said she was going to start doing the scheduling.

I’ve got the smaller version of that to try to keep up with the batteries on all the cars. I like it.
