I’ve had the pump reader only display three numbers when in fact I put in four. However, after I press “Enter”, I’ve had no problems getting fuel. I think the display sometimes cuts off the first digit.

Tolson, same thing happened to us…call Profit. Our # somehow got changed from 4 to 3 digits. One call got our old # back.

This may be a universal problem and everyone should be alert because if you fuel on the weekend you cannot get help while standing at the pump.

I fueled last Tuesday and it took my first four letter code, but it would only take three of my 4 digit “unit number”.

A call to Profit revealed both my 4 digit ID and 4 digit unit number in the system were not the numbers I have been using since the beginning. Deb Nau, our contact at Profit gave me the numbers the system shows, and after I got the pump turned on edited them to go back to my original numbers.

I refueled again Friday and everything is working as intended.

I would suggest that if you are planning on refueling during a weekend, verify the user id number and the PIN (unit number) are correct. During the week if there is a problem you can do as I did and contact Deb and she can give you the numbers while you are at the pump, and if wrong correct them to what you want them to be.

Used both (4) digits codes last week and all worked OK…. So not sure if isolated or it is change…… Refueled in MS, IL, and MO….

As a follow up, over the last two months, I refueled at Love’s in KS, SD, ND, WY, & CO without any issues.

However, there is no Profit Tools refueling service station in MT, so plan ahead. They take the fuel card at their truck stops, you simply don’t get any discount thru Profit Tools.

MT and IN have a tax structure that prevents our use of the cards at stations in those two states.

When Alicia was with Profit Tool she worked very hard to see if there was a way to get around it, but could not come up with a solution.

Fueled the bus at Flying J in Peculiar, MO. Using Loves fuel card accepted, began furling. At $500 pump shut off displaying message “see cashier”.

Cashier said she just started employment a week ago, had no idea. Any one have any ideas ?

fueled in Arkansas last week. System accepted 3 numbers for code and 4 for unit. Go figure!

It sounds like there are some glitches. I do know that Deb Nau cannot verify your two four digit access numbers because she does not have a way to compare what the system shows to what they should be.

Used mine Friday in SC and did not see these issues. I will say I have never had a problem like this show up while using my Pilot/Good Sam card.

Al: You should have used the other fuel card for non Love’s locations. I was told the Love’s only works there and to use the other card for all other brands.

Yep, bet you money the Queen driver was using the wrong card and was on the RV side having stimulating conversation with the RV crowd, fueling is a social event you know.:)
