Mike does the bus charge the chassis batteries and run ok ?? If so why are you dealing with that alternator, especially trying to remove it when it seems to be working. Is the house 12v batteries something that stopped working while you had it or did you buy it that way. I think the Vanners above the engine are 50 amps maybe those were upgraded to only 1 100 amp Vanner. You mentioned fuses have you checked to see if they are good? I have only one alternator and I have a 24 v. Cable running to 5 50amp Vanner in the house battery bay off of which a 12 v cable ties into my house batteries to charge them when the engine is running. Been that way since 1992.

Winner, Winner! Chicken Dinner!
Ventusky is exactly what I was looking for & more.
Now I just need to talk the wife into going

Thanks for all the feedback and input. Talked to Roger and Dave Rousey and made a deal to purchase Legendary #26 pending inspection
Excited about becoming a part of the Prevost family
Hopefully we will meet some of you out on the road
Drive safe!

Thank you Jon, I do exactly as you do. The generator runs for 3 hrs every morning. You are most likely correct that its fine with no monitor. I just feel I want to watch the batteries a little closer as they age. It also gives me something to obsess about. Your post gives me piece of mind while i work out a monitoring device.

Prevost bus air systems have many Bendix brand parts. Example is the PR-2 pressure protection valve on page 26 of this Bendix catalog: Catalog
My bus uses the 75 psi PR-2, # 277227N. -
#3 – Tank Pressure Protection Test
The tank draining sequence is: to bring the entire coach pneumatic system up to pressure. Next, drain each tank starting with the wet tank. Drain the primary next. The secondary next. And finally the accessory tank. You are looking for moisture, but perhaps more importantly you verify all the protections in the system are functioning. That is very important because if each tank in succession has air pressure when the preceding tan has none it means a catastrophic loss of pressure in any system will not leave the remaining systems without pressure.
The DOT brake check will verify the protection valve between the secondary and accessory tanks is not allowing brake system pressure into the accessory system until brake pressure has been satisfied with at least 75 PSI.

We have an ON/OFF switch on our dash

Y’all can come hang with Nancy and I, not only did we have Covid, but now both shots done and anti-body wealthy. We think….

Keyed ignition switch ?

It was the entry door motor, and it was a relatively easy fix because the handle, panels, trim, etc all came off fairly easy.
I thnk Jeff has the motors in stock.
How do you like your coach so far?
-
Tony, you are near Jeff…have him order from Prevo and let his glass guy install. Have had him do two of ours. Reason I asked about slides is because on Vantare’s the north/south windows are not Prevo. Geo.

Two choices in that era, 03-07 EGR 08–11 DPF
both have their downsides. More heat load on cooling system.
loss of fuel mileage , maintenance , mysterious problems.
-
Saying add more heat exchangers is simple. Once a coach is built adding another one or two becomes a monumental task.
Truk is correct, if there are more specifics about the coach, converter, model and model year it just might be a problem someone can provide specific help, but as long as the owner is with holding vital information it is unlikely he canget further help.
