OYSTERFEST AND A SEMINAR
Since the Covid virus pandemic came into being all plans for rallies and seminars have been cancelled and for a lot of us travel plans were curtailed or minimized.
But with the potential for vaccines Tom and I have made tentative plans to resume some activities. This post is to get a sense of the level of interest to resume Oysterfest and to put on another seminar relating to our coaches.
We have made plans to hold both events at Pandion Ridge RV resort in Orange Beach, AL. It is an excellent RV resort with large spaces, long pull through sites and is nicely located not far from the beach, with an abundance of restaurants, shopping, etc.
For Oysterfest we have scheduled the dates 4/14 to 4/19. This will be a no-rally rally with no agenda, but typically will have one or two meals in the clubhouse and lots of opportunities to do show and tell, meet new and old friends, and swap lies.
Those of us that like oysters will have an abundance of opportunities and places to enjoy them.
For the seminar we will change how it is presented. Traditionally it has been at one of the shops of folks that support our coaches. This time we will hold it in the clubhouse at Pandion Ridge. We intend to have presenters as we have in the past to bring their expertise on systems and devices we have in our coaches. As in the past with our coaches at the resort there will be opportunities to do some show and tell so the seminar will benefit us all by encouraging attendees to provide questions and topics to cover. We have scheduled the dates of 10/21 through 10/25.
Keep this thread exclusively for responses from folks who would plan on attending. If there are questions about either the seminar or Oysterfest post them here also. The level of interest shown is going to determine if these events happen, and in order for them to happen we need a strong response and we need the response early because both, especially the seminar require a substantial amount of front end planning and work if they are to happen.

For the Seminar, our thinking has been morning seminar and the rest of the day open. This makes it doable for the wives to come knowing 1/2 the day is wide open.

We’re thinking about driving down to the Oysterfest for a couple of days and staying in a Hotel nearby… Can we do that? We will happily pay the Rally fee !!
