Too Cold here, where to go? Planning tools
Posted by Ken on November 30, 2021 at 9:36 pmSilly question…
For those who can go anywhere how do you decide which direction?
Been looking for a national or maybe regional weather forecast so I can guestimate if I drive a day or two where the weather would be ideal for next week or so.
Ideally if I could find a national web site with forecast by day for next 7 to 10 days.

You can use weather.com and then just enter the City you are interested in visiting. It will provide you with hourly, weekly, 10-day, monthly forecasts…including radar, winds, etc.
The winds feature is helpful in anticipating when to bring in your awnings!

The correct link to Weather Underground is https://www.wunderground.com/
I prefer Weatherbug https://www.weatherbug.com/ but both have excellent information.
Where to go when it’s cold up North? My choice is Arizona. I have FL but lots of folks head there as well. If you want to go to TX it’s not “warm” all Winter unless you head to S. TX toward the Mexican border.

Sorry I didn’t explain better. All weather apps will show forecast for a zip or city. I’m looking for something that aggregates ideally at the national level.
That way I can say where can I go to have better weather for next few days? Yes typically Florida or Arizona have better weather on average but i’m looking for best shot for next few days in any direction.

Once on Weatherunderground site, go to Maps & Radar drop down menu, then chose full maps catalog. Pick and choose from there.
