No problem on the audit, do I really need receipts?

You are very welcome. Enjoyed visiting with you on the phone.

The person that started that rumor is full of the same stuff Jon put’s on his garden and there will be a retaliatory drone strike in response.

Thanks to Jon for the source and everyone else for the info. There does appear to be a version for a later model truck that shows the festoon bulb in the diagram. I can’t tell about the plug however.
Does anyone have an idea what the difference in lamps may be for a regular cab and extended cab?

What is the end result of this issue? Inquiring minds want to know.

I did remove the operating A/Cs on my coach to replace them with Atwood 15K btu heat pumps, both of them. They are already quieter than other brands but they are the only brand that can be run all the time on LOW fan. There are two fan motors, one for the outside condensor and a three speed inside fan. Really quiet as a result.
The top of the compressor is restrained from rocking lock to lock on the shock mounts unlike any other brand I have ever seen. The plate that sandwiches the roof unit to the roof is a duct work that smoothly changes the downward flow of the air to horizontal flow. The data cable that connects my controls to the roof unit is on a retracting reel so it does not get stuffed out of the way by the tech.
With both compressors running plus normal loads, no toaster, coffee maker, microwave, etc on, I see 27 amps on my EMS readout.
The output air is cold. I have never set the fan to hi to get the coach cool in the Texas summer.
I do like mine a lot and Carolyn really likes the quiet operation. They are quieter than my several friends Newell basement units.

No problem Tom. Lindsay just filled in the profile.
I have the 10 of the generic type ub12 batteries. From reading here it looks like the Lifelines are the best option when we have to replace them. I appretiate the offer and will be checking the date codes to see what we have for age on them. Regards, Jeff

Talk to Al, he had that very problem with his reared sensor. Don’t panic Tim, chances are it’s another wheel position and you may never see the light again.

If you troll eBay you’ll likely be able to eventually find a pro-link code reader/scan tool with the right DDEC software for about $500.

It does figure they are all different… If they were all the same we would t have any fun. Hopefully it’ll work for you too!

Unfortunately, at the moment I only have 30 amp plugs. Probably should try to plug in elsewhere, but have double checked my plugs and had 2 electricians check. Wondering if there might be a problem in the inverter.

Hi Jon thank you for the information. I don’t believe that it is a shower valve issue because I am getting no hot water to any sink or even the outside shower. It is as if a hot water valve is totally cut off. I have moved several valves around the hot water heater to other positions and back to the original ones that I found it in. The tank feels hot so I think that we do have a water blockage or cut off problem. One note. Prior to this happening I had a pin hole size leak that leaked the water tank down to zero. That problem seems to have stopped. After I filled the tanks I made the mistake of pulling the valve to drain down the hot water heater – I thought that the leak was in the heater itself so I thought I would bypass it. After that didn’t work I put the valves back in their original position but I have no hot water.
As to your first question I have had the coach for a year and never had this problem. The coach has had a 6 month layoff while a new front clip was put on it by Excalibur. (Another problem but thats for another day).
I am taking the coach to Prevost Service Center in LA on Monday. Hopefully they can find out whats going on. Otherwise I am afraid my entire trip is kaput. If that happens I will have a coach for sale. The wife can handle just so much of this crap.

Another report and this one is better. I ran the generator Friday for 8 hours and 40 minutes with our normal load for a hot day and the breaker held and nothing else went haywire. We left Wichita after church Friday night and when we arrived in OKC a few minutes before 1:00 I cranked the generator and went to bed. Today has been a busy day setting up the tent so I had not even walked in the bus until a few minutes ago, but my wife did check things a few times.
It has been running over 16 hours and all is well. I know that anything can happen but I am tentatively breathing a sigh of relief! I hope it sits right there and runs all week!
I appreciate those that have been checking on me. I value your concern and advice.

Per we are currently in Newport till Monday morning. Will probably go up to the Willamette Valey for a couple of days then up to Seattle. Let’s stay in touch in the event we are in the same neighborhood. My mobile is (337) 288-6841. Anyone else in this neck of the woods is welcome to join us.
