In all the forums I have never seen or heard of an R22 refrigerant system.
The only way to really check a system initially is to hook up the gauges. Are the pressures within range?

The problem with insurance is a lot of people only focus on the premium. I’m not suggesting we shouldn’t be trying to get a reasonable rate, but not at the risk of having inadequate insurance.
When you need an insurance company to step up to the plate you are already in trouble. You do not want to find out you and your insurance company have two different concepts about coach repairs. I had a serious engine compartment fire and at the time National Interstate was the insurance company. They stepped right up and immediately approved a tow to Prevost in Jacksonville, then had an adjuster that knew exactly what a Prevost was and did not hesitate to advise Prevost to not only make the necessary repairs to the visible damage, but to rebuild the entire OTR system because it might have been compromised with excess pressures as a result of the fire.
If I ever needed confirmation that having the correct insurance was valuable that experience did that.

im surprised that converters do not secure the crestron wireless so that only your coach is controlled by your controllers. As a programmer, im totally against anything being wide open and not secured.
Maybe when Jeff reprograms my crestron, we can apply a security layer. Jeff??

I had a similar situation with the Suburban and race car in the trailer on the Milwaukee expressway a few weeks ago. Ended up on the left-hand shoulder next to the last car in line. Was really surprised (1) the tires didn’t slide on the gravel and dirt on the shoulder and (2) how straight the trailer tracked.
Do you know if any of the tires actually locked up? Good reason to mark the valve stems on the tires (which I going to the coach to do right now!) to indicate if the tires moved on the wheels.

We use synthetic in the pumpkin and hubs and Transcend in the transmission. We think it runs cooler and doesn’t break down as fast.

Diane,
I think you need access to the windshield on the inside up top to attach the inside portion of the magnets. If yours is open, then they would probably work. Mine has the TV overhead cabinet across the top of the windshield, so the Magneshade would not work for me.
I opted for the snap on style, which is aggravating, only because the “H” is so tall, you must have a ladder to install the top.

With all respect, one might “feel” that an act is “reasonable” and “legal” but if it violates the law, it is neither. As past discussions on this subject have revealed, each state like Texas has a set of laws that require the vehicle to be registered in the state of domicile…..if the RV is actually kept in the state. The “commercial” status of the vehicle is irrevelant.
Again, as has been stated by our BART State Committee in Texas on which I have served, in Texas, after a resident of the state has their RV kept in the state of Texas for a period of 30 days, the RV must be registered and road use fees paid on the vehicle. If the owner is transferring their own personal state of domicile to Texas,it is simply a matter of transfering registration and payment of the license fee.
It is against the law to acquire an RV and dominclie the RV in Texas under an assumed name or foreign LLC and not pay the initial road use fees if the owner is a resident of Texas.
The concept of a MT LLC and not paying taxes in the state where the RV is domiciled is not even in the same discussion as that of paying taxes on municipal bonds or in comparing the act to that of tax planning allowed by statute.
Jon is correct, it is a question of avoidance versus evading…. Texas says it is evading. So does Florida.
Again, respectfully stated,I pay all taxes and road use fees on my coach and expect everyone else to do so on theirs.

We have friends in St. Pete which is why I’d like to be as close as possible. I did find a KOA in Big Rigs which we may try if nothing else comes up. Thank you.
