St. Petersburg, FL
I looked on the PC map and didn’t see any parking recommendations for St. Petersburg. 2-3 nights. Your input is appreciated.

There are no resorts, either. Not even close. But if all you want is a good nights sleep, there are a couple of campgrounds in nearby Clearwater. The place is called Clearwater RV Resort (not) located at 2946 Gulf to Bay Blvd. – We have stayed there once for several nights and it was ok. We had a site at the back of the campground. Do not remember anymore but would have been from 158 to 163 – You park on grass and it is fairly level. FHU with 50 amps.
If you need any work done on your coach, then try Parliament Coach in Clearwater. If you spend some money with them, you can stay on one of their FHU sites, of which they have 7.Cheers,

We have friends in St. Pete which is why I’d like to be as close as possible. I did find a KOA in Big Rigs which we may try if nothing else comes up. Thank you.

If you’re not aversed to county or state parks, how about Fort de Soto or Little Manatee? Both look OK for 45′.

Andy, been there, done that. … Fort de Soto is a beautiful location and strictly going by size, a Prevost can get in there. But, the access roads are very narrow and the turns into the site are 90 degrees. That can be very tight due to the vegetation. Getting a reservation at this park is very difficult. Due to its location, they are booked, booked and booked some more.
it is also not closer to St. Pete than Clearwater or, for that matter, the KOA on Madeira Beach. Between the 3 locations, you are looking at a minimum of 15 minutes to as long as 30 minutes drive to get into St. Pete. -
