But still no HD with Directv and in motion. So are you going to have 2 dishes on your bus or did you switch to DISH Network?

Before my recent move to a house that also has room for the bus, used a dryer feed from my house to supply power while loading for trips. Had my electrician wire the dryer with a 50 amp recepticle giving me two legs of 30 to the bus. After rebalanceing the pannel in the bus, was able to run all 4 roof airs on a double feed of 30.

I have to admit that I might be a little like Jon … I also want to know the cause.

Possibly a call to the fire chief of the fire department that responded to the bus fire might provide some insight into what caused the fire.

    Andre,

The bulb number is on my post 7-12, but may be an old number. Thanks for the links.

I carry spare breakers and I may have been the cause but as soon as I get an opportunity this will be permanently resolved.

I ran a new antenna for my Pressure Pro Pulse and I routed it through the electrical area. I may have inadvertently “pulled the trigger” on that breaker by touching the button on the breaker that trips it. I may not have pushed it far enough to get it to trip, but enough so it was almost tripped.

Depending on my time or need I may get this taken care of this trip or right after I get home. I have not measured the current draw yet but that is the immediate first step. If it is OK it was likely my fault.

My purpose in the original post is to make everyone aware that if that breaker trips it is alarming (no pun intended) and by being aware of what happens it becomes merely annoying and something you can take a few minutes to respond to it rather than going into panic mode. Gerald is correct in that if it does happen the cause is either a spike in the load it carries due to a short, or most likely, a circuit breaker that is getting “lazy” and is failing.

What are you smoking for the New Year Godfather?

I know your era Liberty didn’t come with a accumulater or backup water pump like a Marathon but your design putting the Electric junction box on the floor of the water bay?

    Don’t know about that one.

I should have been more complete, as Jon points out I leave the 20 ton bottle jack fully lowered (hydraulically) and screw the post up until its about 1/4″ below the jacking point. If the coach settles down, it isn’t going to uncrew by itself.

I recall seeing a picture of some pretty nice extremely heavy duty jack stands for a coach posted some time ago. Heavy wall square steel tubing welded to a bottom plate with gussets for support, carrying/positioning handles, and the top of the tube welded shut.

I suspected from the time we heard Jon and Buddy were off to get the coach that it was a nefarious plan to get Buddy out of his beloved CC. My suspicions have been confirmed. I can see how that could happen, Phil and Joannes Liberty is one of the nicest around. Brilliant plan, just brilliant!

Since the election is Tuesday night I am going to setup my satellite
and TV in the Cessna building. We can order some pizza and watch the circus amongst
friends. I will not be responsible any for any of my Dad’s comments if it is
    not going well for Trump!

    Tom
and Jon I’m not sure who you are voting for, but we do have small room in the
    back for the misguided!

Steve, are you sure there is no accumulator tank?

If the pressure in it is not correctly set or is down to zero it is hard to know, but it could be hidden. I still haven’t put an eyeball on mine, but I know it is there because with the water pump turned off the water will run about a minute or so.

I will definitely take the trouble to find it as soon as I sense the pump is kicking on quickly after I open a tap, or if the water will not run with the water pump cycled off.
