DDEC display has gone blank
While the display has gone blank I think the DDEC is still functioning properly. Is there a cb somewhere I can check? I haven’t pulled the dash yet to check connections but will if there is no other options. All other electrical seem to be working fine including dash gauges. Jake, cruise, low idle, high idle all work fine. Hoping a switch got turned off by mistake!

Doug, I have zero ability to answer your question, but I have found Prevost often can provide bery good assistance via the phone. If you do not find answers at the local service center level or the regional managers try contacting Prevost engineering. (Obviously a last resort).
I have spoken to the engineers when I needed good answers to hard questions and they have always been very good at answering my quesitons.

Thanks Tom. I mistated what had gone blank. It is actually the ProDriver display if that makes any difference. I know that CB2 is the feed and that breaker seems to be working. This display was working fine until the last trip to Seattle. It just did not start up when I started the engine. Nothing else changed! Work has taken place in the engine compartment but I have checked all connections. All seem to be fine. Tomorrow I will try PASS. Thanks Tom for the suggestion.

We had a “black background ” pro driver go blank right after we bought the 2000 Marathon H on ’99 chassis in 2004. Prevost Dallas was able to find a rebuilt one. New ones of that style are obsolete. If you have newer green background ones I believe you can get a replacement, albeit, spendy!! eBay maybe avenue, too.

Just returned from another 2 day trip (720 mi). All worked well but I still haven’t figured out the ProDriver display. Still not working and not much help from the Big Boys. I guess it’s time to tear into the dash and try to find a loose/defective wire. Thanks to all for the guidance. I’m just not ready to declare it quits and try to find a replacement. I’ll keep you posted.

If you go to the wiring harness on the back of the Pro Driver I believe there is an in-line fuse in one of the wires. As is normal thery have two power sources: one is constant power through a 2 amp fuse and the other is the ignition feed when the vehicle is turned on. The 12 volt feed on wire #439 should be hot as you have all the other functions of the DDEC engine. Most likely the fuse has blown or the fuse holder has come apart.
