Nice job John, If I was replacing inverters, I would do the same as you and go with Magnum.

I’m still trying to figure out Angstroms. Are you sure that wasn’t Amsterdam?

Can anyone post the procedure for the 2012 or 2013 model year F-150 4×4? It may help someone who wants to tow one….

Found this thread looking for another. What ended up happening?

The pipes are likely to have a clear lacquer or polyester finish on them after polishing. But if the clear coat has a break in it such as a scratch or an area where the finish failed the copper will corrode and the corrosion can spread beneath the clear protective coating.
So the real solution is to stip the coating, repolish the pipes and either clear coat it again, or be doomed to a life of polishing copper sewer pipes.
Thank goodness this is a private conversation just between us because if the folks that are driving SOBs (some other brands) knew what we were saying about our Liberty copper plumbing they would be all over this.

We spent 4 days at two rivers landing this spring and it was wonderful! Wish we could get back there but we are planning on returning in October.

As long as we are having thread drift and talking about Peter, I watched from the sidelines the transaction when he sold his Royale to another PC member.
Peter is the standard all sellers should be measured against. He not only sold a coach that was in excellent condition as a result of his efforts, he helped train the buyers and has provided spare parts and remained available for any questions or help they needed.
He knew the coach, he sold it in excellent condition and he is readily available to offer his help. That’s how he is.

We would like to see everyone list their conversion, type of coach and year in their signature line.
Having that information available helps everyone because when folks respond to a question they can be more specific, and when a person answers a question it helps the reader understand if the response is based on actual ownership of the same coach or conversion.
Providing information on the toad is not quite as important, but it does help others know if they are contemplating a specific toad they can direct questions to those already using that vehicle as a toad.
Pretty soon Tom is going to simplify his signature line and just say “One of everything”

Mike and Kathy,
I’ve been towing a 2003 2500 Ram 4×4 since 2007. Works well as long as you go through the Owner’s Manual instructions on placing the transfer case in neutral. If you don’t there may be a new set of tires coming soon to you RAM. I adhere to the Bill Clinton policy of, “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell.” It happened at days travel end in Phoenix. I now keep a copy of the instructions in the generous arm rest so the are very handy either going into tow mode or getting out of tow mode.
I have an Air Force 1 brake unit in the coach and a Blue Ox Aventa tow bar.

On my last coach (not a prevost or newell) My aqua hot had a “high” and a “low” switch. When we ran the generator or were on shore power I never used the diesel burner portion of the aqua hot for water and could take long showers. It even kept the coach warm when temps went down to 30 degrees…
Out of habit, I always turned on teh burner when it got below freezing but I’m not sure I really needed to. I think at one time I asked an aqua hot service center if they could put in a low and high switch and element in my aqua hot on the prevost and they said no.

In nearly all cases it is the curb seals that I am replacing. I am pretty sure I must have had a street side one done but I can’t recall when. I don’t know the name of the seal but it’s the one that holds the fluid you would see in the hub window. It’s not a big expensive job, I just don’t see why they should fail so often and usually I have only put 30-40,000 miles since the last repair. At least the costs get spread out so I only have to do one each year or so! Just had the drive seal done in Dallas Feb. 2103 and there was no sign of oil on the tag.

Keep rambling Gary, always good to hear whats going on in your neck of the woods. I can’t tell you what the weather is like down here, you’ll stick pins in my voo doo doll. Everyone back home in GA are having a tough time, but where we live, the power is still up.
