Gil was just telling me in confidence that he really wishes he had a Liberty.
He of course will deny that because he knows that since he recently told the world he doesn’t keep maintenance records he has made it difficult for him to sell his CC so an UPGRADE may not be in the cards.

BTW, Jon you shamed me in making a maintenance log from all the receipts I have. I have almost all receipts and records damn near dating back to the initial delivery.

You done good. Seriously. Buyers will place a coach with good documentation at the top of the list. Maybe one of our members who recently sold his coach (and has not yet annouced it) will verify that his coach not only sold because its maintenance history was documented, but that the buyers placed a greater value on the coach because of the proven history.
As to CC stickers on my coach and my desire for a CC………….can we take a poll and see if anyone thinks that will happen?

We can vouch for keeping records and a log. Probably set a record on the other sales site…less than 48 hrs and for the asking price(2000 CC XL). Jon in CC….I suppose anything’s possible. But Tom, could be next week.

Not to hijack the thread, but here’s what I hate about maintenance logs rather than a file full of receipts.
I remember when we in the telecom industry sruggled with the risk versus reward of providing a customer with a single monthly bill for their TV, Internet, and wireless services. Some big named telcos thought it was great idea, I did not and still do not. A single bill (a maintenance log) makes it clearly evident what you are spending. Individual service bills (file full of receipts) doesn’t make the total cost slap you in the face. Although my service costs have been reasonable, there a bit more than I had thought.
Back on topic. Remember Jon saying just the other day that it doesn’t make sense for things like lighting controls to not simply be on wall switches. He may be dreaming of having a CC or even a Royale or Parliment, but let’s see if he can man up and eat a little crow and make the move.

I have pushed the crow aside and instead have almost embraced the convenience of Crestron.
It seems those without it are upgrading the AV systems to employ some single device to operate all the various components and features so I am getting in step with society. However, I am firmly in support of multiplex systems, adaptive braking, fire suppression and all the newer features on the Prevost chassis as well as the Liberty conversion because those technologies are far easier to grasp and diagnose and repair.
Notice in the first sentence the word almost.
In a decade or two, when the technology is proven I might consider upgrading my phone.

Sometimes. But despite our large number of members the Prevost Community at large is really a very small group of people compared to other special interest groups and the rumor mill is incredibly effective. Di has often said we Prevost enthusiasts are worse than women when it comes to gossip.
