A good shop will be able to do it. I did mine myself, just have to remove the complete assy. to replace the gear set. A little tough to get it out due to the lack of space, but it’s pretty straight forward for someone with a little mechanical experience.

Mike, I got some gray paint at Tractor Supply that was a very close match to the gray paint used on my coach. Keep in mind I have a Liberty so some of the painted surfaces might have paint from Prevost or Liberty. I just don’t know whose gray I matched.

It’s also my understanding that the X3’s can only have two slides max.
So, if you want 3 or 4 slides, it will be a H-3.

Hi Jon,
we live a block block from the Albert Whitted downtown St. Petersburg airport which would be totally ideal. However they don’t allow anything in the hangar other than aircraft. Thanks for the idea though.

So Jon, do you put a reminder on your smartphone that the oil plug is out from the day before? I just have vision of you walking out to the barn one morning and fire up the old girl and forgetting you drained all her oil out the night before!
Just sayin..
Also, do you think by just using the UGLY FIX will give close to the same results as you without plugging the EGR?

Thanks for the kind words Peter I have lived in Alberta Canada for 50 years other than the winters get a little long it’s a great place to live. With our dollar the way it is now you guys can probably make money up here with the exchange lots to see here and easy on your wallet at the same time. -
Is Nancy giving the slide seminar? Geo.

TJ, have you had a chance to personally walk through the coach? The reason I ask is because if it’s sitting at Auto Boss RV in Mesa, I’m sitting 1 mile from it and can take a look for you.

Hey there.. what kinda of dollars am I gonna spend on a set of 8 Lifelines for this 1988 Marathon XL.. they look like 4d’s to me.. I’m not sure the prior owner wired them properly, so I’m going to go through the schematics and the calibration manual for the inverters before I go stuffing a new set in there..
Thank you!!

To Roy who asked wher he can get one, and to all others, the Indufix is no longer available. The Germn company which sold them, to me and others on this board, is out of business.
However, there are several other brands, on eBay and Amazon and elsewhere, which are essentially the same product.
All of the 2 burner tops should be a drop-in replacement for the ancient Gaggenau. The Gaggenau is a good paperweight but that is about all it is.
As for “special cookware neeed”, as long as it is MAGNETIC, it will work.
IKEA sells a set of pots for about $200 … !!
Cast iron would work perfect but it is much too heavy.
By the way, I was the first one to install the Indufix and it is still working like the day it was installed.
If you cook inside the bus, induction is the only way to go.
And, you can sell the Gaggenau on eBay and probably get close to the money the induction cooktop will cost you! I did.
Cheers & Happy New Year to all of PC,
Ronald
