A lot of the coaches listed for sale are from advertisers. As a practical matter it does not do us any good to irritate them because they are supporting this site.
Tom has worked very hard to try to encourage them to remove outdated listings. The ads do expire. But we are not going to risk losing advertisers because we pester them constantly to remove sold coaches.
This is not exclusively a PC problem and we see exactly the same issue on virtually every other site that lists Prevost coaches for sale. By leaving a listing up on web sites the sellers get phone calls and that is what they want. They can tell a potential buyer that they just sold the coach but they have another the buyer may be interested in.

Congrats – enjoy the ride. Beautiful coach!

I’ve been trying to find, without success, the amount of antifreeze in the 8V92 system? I’m sure I lost at least 3 gallons and am curious how many gallons are actually in the radiator/system?
I know my manuals will tell me but they’re in the bus and I’m at home. I also tried to find it on the Prevost website but no joy.

Harry going on what Jon said, how about a picture of the area between that bay and the wheel well?

TJ,
Crossing fingers for you. As you work thru the process…. this additional feedback might help.
when we purchased our 2007 Marathon. We requested the following from the broker dealer we purchased thru:
Full PDI (Chassis and House) from taylor tours in phoenix
Oil and Coolant Analysis on drive engine
Dyno on drive engine
All issues on PDI were addressed and corrected by Taylor. Oil, coolandand Dyno all checked out and so far so good.
Best of luck!

Robert: I wouldn’t do anything to discourage you from buying a brand new Prevost or have one built for you bespoke, especially if you’re in a position to do it. Its coach buyers like you and Mr. Mark who provide most of the rest of us with pre-owned coaches to choose from. Plus it keeps the converters, their staffs, and their parts and pieces vendors busy as well as Prevost interested in us and our older coaches.
That said, sounds like your RV/MH experience was similar to ours before we bought our Prevost. I had rented Class C’s a couple of times, a late-80s Prevost CC for a weekend, and had the privilege of traveling in a friends Liberty Prevost a number of times. Our Prevost is the first “RV” we’ve ever owned.
After buying our coach and using it a number of times, including living and traveling in it for a month I realized that spec’ing out a “new coach” is a huge responsibility. While we really like our Liberty, if I was spec’ing out a new coach based on “living in it” I would have some things done for us special. Its mostly little stuff like placement of light switches, outlets, powered USB outlets, more circuits for convenience outlets the length of the coach, Crestron screens on either side of the bed, Webasto on/off icons on the now two bedroom Crestron screens, 30/50amp buddy plug at the rear of the coach for the race trailer, auxiliary air taps in the bays near the tires (who wants to drag a long hose around), 120volt outlets on the sides of the coach for neighbors at the race track, etc. Your wants and needs will be likely different from ours or Mr. Mark’s, or Jon’s or Diane’s.
Most of these things are the kind of stuff I probably would not have thought of if I was spec’ing out a new coach without any experience.
So Robert if you go down the route of having a coach built for you, try and figure out how to get some experience in a very recent coach. Lease a coach for a month or two. Attend the All Prevost Show in Florida in early 2018. Talk to other Prevost owners. Ask them what they would do different in their coaches if they could snap their fingers and get it. Put all the stuff in your notes. You’ll make better decisions with those experiences.

“frustrating for the shopper”
Definitely!

TJ&Bryan, I would contact Steve Bennett from Premium Coach Group in Gilbert Az. Geo.

Hi there,
Ref the article on ‘no go’ areas in the UK as per the article referenced by Micheal. Not true. These articles appear from time to time in the US conservative press and it is just hype. I live in Preston and my daughter lives in London and we can both catagorically say that both cities are no worse any any other city. Sure you don’t advertise yourself as an easy target to an opportunist mugger, but regarding the police needing permission to patrol? A bunch of crap.

Rudy,
The only combo we had was the Splendide in our first coach and it was enough to make a combo W/D a show stopper.
Our Bosch is a stackable.
Our Asko was a great set of W/D, but the key was lack of reliability. As soon as the warranty ran out it was one repair after another.
-
A new to Nancy and Tom coach with slides would likely have had a more reliable W/D set. Just sayin’.

Understand CLS.
The coolant level sensor is in the expansion tank and has to detect coolant at or above its level. It is essentially an on-off switch.
The coolant temperature sensor is measuring coolant temp and the reading from that is what DDEC sees as coolant temp. The two sensors are unrelated except each will send the signal to DDEC to shut you down.
-
Information like that needs to be clarified because when a couple of thousand owners read it they will go crazy trying to find their coolant level gauge.

You’re right Jon, It’s like going to a black tie shindig sporting a pair of white bucks! The white bucks just makes the outfit! 🙂
