  • Spray paint color for bays

Posted by Michael on March 31, 2017 at 3:19 pm

Does anyone know the best (spray) paint matching the gray used inside the bays and engine compartments on the Prevost Country Coach?

I assume it is likely a Prevost color rather than specific to CC…

(The usual Rustoleum grays at Home Depot don’t have the bluish tint I’m trying to match.)

    Thanks!

Mike, I got some gray paint at Tractor Supply that was a very close match to the gray paint used on my coach. Keep in mind I have a Liberty so some of the painted surfaces might have paint from Prevost or Liberty. I just don’t know whose gray I matched.

    Hi Mike –

We had Sherwin Williams match the paint color in our engine compartment. Donald uses a brush to apply as it is in a quart can (no worries of over-spray). We have had great results! When it dries, we could not see any difference.

June: Looks like you started out with a “oil based primer”. Please confirm.

    Hi Dick –

Yes, that is all Donald used.

I apologize for not posting the front of the can – that would help! Here is the front:
