  • Visiting Canada in 2017 ?

Posted by Ronald on March 6, 2017 at 5:09 pm

If you do go and plan to visit any of the Canadian State Parks (Parks Canada), then this would b of interest to you.

We have visited Canada many times. Great places to visit, nice people and never a problem with Canadian Customs.

Canada is celebrating its 150th anniversary this year and to celebrate they will provide FREE ADMISSION in 2017 to anyone who will present the CANADA 150 Discovery Pass at the gate.

We got ours by signing-up on their website and received the card in the mail about 4 weeks later.

Go to parkscanada.gc.ca to request your card or call 888-773-8888

    Cheers,

    Ronald

    Ordered mine tonight.

I wonder if this includes expedited entry into Canadian if you’re just going to visit. From what I’m reading on Facebook the border crossings into Canada must be awfully crowded with Americans seeking political asylum in Canada.

I was born in Banff and own a repair shop in Banff with my twin brother , my grand Dad had the livery stable in Banff in the 1900’s , I will cross the border about five times this year no worries , enjoy the view when driving , I lived there for 18 years it’s the nicest place on earth I think, Park passes are free this year

Thanks for the kind words Peter I have lived in Alberta Canada for 50 years other than the winters get a little long it’s a great place to live. With our dollar the way it is now you guys can probably make money up here with the exchange lots to see here and easy on your wallet at the same time.
