No sir I am not sure, it’s not in the water bay. I assumed Jeffro would have had a conversation with me
about that at the time we changed the hot water heater.
It could be hiding somewhere.. -
After 6 plus years and two Prevo’s…still have a huge grin everytime I get behind the wheel. Geo.

It also cost a bit more than your fix did!! -
If I can’t fix it myself or I just can not get there would be the only reason not to use Jeff Rowe. Knows his stuff and most of all he is HONEST………………….. As far as price goes, if ya have to ask, you don’t need a Prevost!! 😉

I used the Michelin on call resource in early August. They provided good service and I had a new 365 installed the next day ( could have had same day but did not need ). The bad tire was 14 months old with roughly 5k miles. My issue is that there was no contact by Michelin with any warranty consideration as of mid October. The charge was $1061. I thought this was through FMCA advantage program, but no information or price breakdown was offered. I feel bad for even hinting of a complaint because I was so lucky. The tread separation was found while parked, at the 12 o’clock position on the right steer. Probably only a few miles before going bang.

Glad to see you’re still alive Steve!
Hope to see you at some future event …

I will give another Thumbs-Up to Wilson Bryan at HeadHunter (954-581-6996 ). He stepped me through the troubleshooting to find a valve with a bad diaphram. He also explained the valves – starting in mid-2000 – have a cone strainer installed on the inlet to help keep debris out that would clog the pinhole mentioned above.

I doubt if this is the difference, but if the hot side is carrying heavier loads, yet the pressures side to side are the same that would be a reason. But that would have to be a lot of imbalance.

Well,
This morning my Aux Compressor majically started working again. Ugh … I hate that. When something doesn’t work, I try to figure it out, then a day or so later, it starts working without first determining why it stopped working in the first place.
Can’t be a fuse since it wouldn’t come back on. I didn’t see any 12V circuit breakers tripped, although I still re-set the air comp at the DC panel box.

Thanks for the update Chip. Us CC/ECC guys have to stick together and exchange all the info we can. Glad it worked out. -
We went home today and when I pulled it into the driveway I left the bus in drive position, pressed the button, and the slide went out no problem.I didn’t know that you had to have it in drive height for the front slide to work. I guess it’s not obvious since the rear slide works.
This happened to me a couple other times before and I thought I had an intermittent problem, but now I think it was just me having leveled the coach and then taking the coach out of level low and not realizing that was what was needed.
I had another problem before that had to do with the headlights that seemed intermittent but turned out that it wasn’t. It only happened when the headlights were off. But t until I knew that it was a ghost of a problem. Interesting how that happens.
Our bus has Prevost slides. When I called marathon they confirmed that.
Thanks all! The level low info seems to have been right on.

Our tank is right above the DS front wheel. Drain valve is at the front of the generator compartment–easy to get to.

thanks Rudy. I’ll try the vinegar method.
