All good ideas!
We have been following Wheelingit, but did not know if there is a Prevost group at the Fiesta like the groups from Escapees (Boomers and Escapers). It appears that it is boondocking (even with 30 amp service) no matter where we decide to park, it is just a matter of deciding how far away we want to be and what services are available (the event does provide water and pumping services at your coach, $25 for each service per occurance).
It is good to have options for those days that the balloons are not flying or between events. Not sure about the entertainment on the way in (getting shot at). Should we mount a 50 cal to the roof and I can ride shotgun while Donald drives?

I had a bad speedometer sensor which after the bus was backed in shop was changed in “14 minutes.
Speedometer dash needle would shake / wonder around in the 60-70 mph range.
Sensor is one of 3 in the Allison but the one that causes the shifting problem is up on bell housing area. This one is on tail output shaft. Common part change. Allison dealer had 30 each in stock.
Problem solved and cured. I’ll post a picture, left the old part in the bus.

The originals are held on w/4 screws(2 inner, 2 outer). The new LEDs are held on w/2 screws{outer).
Problem 1) A original inner screw provided for the elecrical ground for the fixture. The picture shows my solution for the new LED fixture.
Problem 2) There is a grommet/nut thingie(I don’t know what to call it?) that the outer screws screw into to hold the fixture on. Half of these thingies? failed when trying to tighten down the new LED fixture. My soluton? go to HomeDepot and buy 5/16″ wall anchors(see pic). I also used #10 stainless pan head screws instead of the #12 non-stainless that came with the anchors.
Problem 3) How to seal the new fixture to the side of the coach? I used automotive door edge protector that I bought in bulk(18′) from a wholesaler here for $0.60/ft. It takes 16″ per fixture. Another sealing method is using red rubber gasket material I found at HD, and cutting it to size, because it comes in 6″x6″ squares, 2/pack.

With ZipDee’s product quality and support after the sale I am surprised Prevost isn’t making them an OEM supplier.
Sorry Prevost, but so far the dumb use of the CACs that fail instead of the good one, the lousy mirrors, and poor quality belt tensioner bellows is sending a signal to owners that quality is suffering.

I think the lady in my GPS hates me.
Sends me places that aren’t even close sometimes.

WOW Peter! You got equipment I hope I never need. Very impressive truck. Reminds me of the that TV show … O’Hare Towing and then were was one from Canada or Alaska where it was one recovery after another.
That bus was picked up similar to how they towed my race car at Road America after backing into the wall at corner 13. The wrecker guy had a long steel tube with hooks on each end, a hook in the middle he attached to the hook on the boom, fed long axle straps through the oval holes in each from wheel, hooked the axles straps to the hooks at the ends of the long tube, and picked up the car. He did NO additional damage to the car. I was really impressed.

For those attending the event, in the next week you will be receiving an email Welcome letter with your confirmation number. Please keep this handy as this will serve as your gate pass for entry. We will be welcoming our guests at the gate by the Florida Air Museum (This is NOT the Fantasy of Flight facility) The address is as posted previously 4175 Medulla Rd. Lakeland FL 33811.
The easisest access in to the facility is off of County Line Rd. If you will be traveling I-4, Take Exit 25 County Line Rd. proceed South to Medulla Rd(3.8 miles). Turn Left on to Medulla Rd and continue straight(1.6 miles). You will see the main gate directly in front of you.
For those traveling from other areas, Your GPS may take you in on Pipkin Rd to Medulla Rd, the only issue is there is a right turn in to the facility to that may be a little tight. I would continue West along Pipkin to County Line turn ritght (North) then follow to the next red light, which is Medulla and come straight in.
Again, anyone with questions, please feel free to give Bill or I a call. You may want to take a look at this on your gps prior to departure because guests have had gps issues in the past since there are 2 sections of Medulla Rd that do not connect, there is Old Medulla that does not connect, and if you put the Airport in your gps, it will take you to the main terminal on the North side of the airport along Drain Field Rd which is at the opposite side of where the show will be hosted.
Safe Travels and cant wait to see everyone!
Tim
