Jeff Rowe, East Tennesse Luxury Coach in Vonore, TN near beautiful Knoxville on the historic Tennesse River. Certified Carrier Technician, Carrier school and all. Just a short drive down the road.

Thanks for the reply i was hoping to find someone closer. I took the coach to Prevost in Nashville and they cleaned out and recharging the compressor, put some parts in the dash, and since they didnt have a particular part in stock, ordered me one. i put it in when i received it, and the air never worked. I havent gone back, mainly because of the distance.

Did Prevost Nashville have any idea why it didn’t work after all that work?

Jeff worked on my mine OTR/bus air twice (both times while the coach was at his shop for other reasons). Improved things a little bit, any things he put on where necessary as they weren’t working right. Finally concluded “the compressor was shot”. Ordered out a rebuilt, upon disassembly of the original discovered that four of the I think 12 reed valves where broken. IMHO key to fixing OTR is hvaing a knowledgeable technician who is also an ace diagnostician. You will find that guy in Vonore.

At the same time, you’ve paid good money to Prevost to fix it and it still doesn’t work. Its my understanding that Prevost stands behind its work. I would pester them first.

When you went to Nashville from Datyon, didn’t you drive past Knoxville?

If Prevost “fixed” it and it is not working, take it back to them. Prevost will stand behind their work.

If you don’t want to do that, Jeff is your best bet.

If I can’t fix it myself or I just can not get there would be the only reason not to use Jeff Rowe. Knows his stuff and most of all he is HONEST………………….. As far as price goes, if ya have to ask, you don’t need a Prevost!! 😉
