I think you can get some anti gel from Detroit , but there is stuff out there , like Howes, or power service in white jug if it’s already gelled power service 911 in red jug I don’t like to use the stuff at all but u might have to in a emergency , I always carry a jug of 911 with me in the winter . The coach I have now I have only bin in -20 and no problems with fuel what so ever , If I am parked for a while I tarp the underside of motor and the back so less cold wind gets in the day before but I try not to be in that kind of weather but have bin caught in it going to a clinic or at a clinic. A old parachute works great for that I carry one with me in late fall not much weight to it , it will cover the back and under the motor then I turn on the webasto and if really cold the block heater , my air dryer has a heater in it also for cold weather , if it’s really cold batteries will freeze too that’s why I tarp the back and underside of motor to keep things warm and batteries you have to make sure no tail pipes for things like webasto do not touch the tarp and catch fire

Dale, you seem to forget all the things you have mentioned about your bus. So here is a little summary. I didn’t go back to read all your posts so this is just what I remember:

You stated that you drove the bus knowing it had a serious air leak in the brake system, but did it a 4:00 AM. You complain about all the stuff wrong with it. You drop it off somewhere to get it fixed and when you pick it up you don’t know what is or isn’t fixed. You are always looking for some place to fix it and don’t quite seem to get it done, or done right. You leave a shop without getting problems resolved. Now you are looking for someone to do brake work, but you don’t even know what you need done or what parts you need.

I rest my case. Take it to Prevost and have them fix it right. If it takes a couple of weeks, so be it.

OK guys, here’s some info on the Hogjowl Airfield Fly-In in Noirth Georgia. The whole story is pretty much told in the third post of this thread dated 5/5/2015 so I wont go over that again.

Hogjowl Airfield is located about seven and one half miles up Hwy 157 from Cloudland, GA. The address is:

    25515 Hwy 157

    Cloudland, GA 30731

    GPS Co-ordinates are:

    N34 36.354 W85 27.718

Check it out on Google Maps or Google Earth.

The dates this year are October 22nd – 25th. We don’t have hook ups, but this time of year is usually ideal for dry camping. We plan to have the usual good time with old airplanes, new airplanes and some old and some new friends. Later on we’ll have a flyer out and I’ll post a copy of it when we do. I’ll try to post the one from last year if I can figure out how. I’ll keep you posted as time nears and if those who plan to come would let me know it would help us with the planning. John

I am six months into my present policy. Plan to get quote from Miller, but also want to get a quote from National Interstate. Does anyone have any recent experiences with National?
