After 50 years of riding MCIs, Merle has finally switched over to Prevosts. The brand new X3-45 VIP, built by Hemphill Brothers, was delivered yesterday. It continues the tradition with the Santa Fe railroad logos that he has used since 1984. The band also got a new bus… a black XLII.

Sorry H3 owners, but with the stainless that coach just oozes class. The finish, set off by the polished stainless creates a look no other coach has come close to.

Had a long talk with Merle a couple years ago, it was a pleasure to meet him as I’ve been a fan for years.

Great to see he has a new bus and is still touring.

This going to run a close second to Bernie’s outfit!!!!!!!!! They need more shiny stuff on the trailer to stay even close to our friend Bernie V.

Like George said (who’s gonna fill their shoes) no one. I got 3 Merle and 3 Waylon CD’s loaded and that’s good for a full night of driving.

    Sturgill Simpson has a chance.

The Georgia Bush Hogger is getting bad info from the Slum Lord in KC. I got the roadster out of the trailer before the pressure line on the steering pump blew, no oil baby just a 7510 dollar hose.

Thanks Cow Catcher, I know who my friends are.

Have you guys noticed the new rear tail-light configuration on the new XLIII’s?

I saw a couple of them at Prevost Nashville and I think it’s a nice update.

I really like the taillights on the X3. Sort of throws back to the vertical taillights on the XL. The black XLII band bus pulling the trailer has the horizontal lights. I’m just not crazy about them.
