Rudy, … thanks a bunch…
I’m still trying to figure out how to Manage the systems since I am a “new owner” in the last 12 months… I have occasion to Park the Bus at my home, but due to current logistics, i can NOT plug it into “Shore Power”… so I need to Run the Gen Set, under “Auto Start” to keep the Rig “Happy” … I am under the imprssion that the Gen needs to be running FULL TIME, if I choose to use the Aqua Hot/Wabasto when I need to Keep the coach “Warm” over night in the MICHIGAN Early Spring, etc…. ??? Is that right?
Please Advise…
THANKS AGAIN!!!

Thank you Rudy. Up here in Michigan the Bus is still tucked away, but that will change in the next couple of weeks. Things seemed a little quirky with Aqua Hot last fall, so I will check into this again, and call accordingly. Thanks so much for your offer to help. I really appreciate it.

Those of us, possibly only some of us, and I know for sure at least one of us … were taken back by the stereotyping inference you made by suggesting those who own and drive coaches more than ten years old are “poor folks”. That is a conclusion on your part that just isn’t fair to some or most of us. We (or maybe just I) aren’t necessarily offended by your abrupt conclusion since it is so out of character for you … because as Tom has warned some of us … time does march on.
Rather than lump all more than ten year old coach owners into a class all their own its important to understand why some of us drive a coach more than ten years old. Maybe the coach was bought new and the owners liked it so much they never traded up … maybe the owner loves the conversion and the converter has ceased operation … maybe the owner doesn’t want to defile he or she coach with DEF and stays away from DEF coaches (which are typically less than 10 years old) … maybe the owner wants a rivet coach and doesn’t like the looks of the rivet-less coach and so on.
Eventhough I get my oil changes at ETLC and bought my shore power outlet fixture from Jamestown Advanced Products … I still have some money left and don’t consider myself poor folk … yet.
So don’t consider us “older coach owners” poor folks. We might be unfortunate or misfortunate because we’re discriminated against by campgrounds that have an arbitrary, poorly thought through ten year age limit … but I don’t think we’re poor folks.
[Turns and walks away mumbling … “Maybe we should start a new website and forum …. PrevostCommunity-OlderCoaches.” I wonder if Buddy and Dan Hilger would want to be founding members.”]

Speaking about the single pane windows only, when we purchased our coach it the the Hunter Douglas sheer type blinds in the front of the coach with the single pane windows. This past summer I bought new Hunter Douglas double sided blinds, the same type used in the newer Marathon’s with the double pane windows, and it has made a huge difference in the ability to keep the coach cooler or warmer, depending on the season, not to mention the added benefit of makeing the front of the coach pitch black at night, due to these blinds being black out blinds.

You will enjoy being retarded (past tense of retired). I became retarded 7-1-99 and now it is 2017 and I have not had a single thought of working again. Once you get on the road, try to schedule in one of the PC No Rally rallies where you will meet a bunch of great people and a couple of old sore heads. As far as having enough money to retire, I have discovered that most of us spend what money we receive and owning a Prevost just lets you spend it quicker. Enjoy your time on the road and enjoy each other’s company, as none of us get out of this old world alive. Thank both of you for your service to our great country.

I think it went flat after we stopped overnight. We stopped at Midway Arches on the Will Rogers turnpike in Okahoma and don’t believe it was flat. Probably did a walk around. It is the passenger side, so I think I would have noticed even if I did not do a walk around. Then drove a 130 miles home and park at a small overnight RV Park ( Stage Stop behind Lambert on Hwy 65). Next morning it was flat.

We have an RO system on our coach now and I installed one on our previous coach.
That to me is the most valuable because it provides our drinking water, water to the coffee maker and water to the refrigerator for ice. We don’t ingest water from the holding tank because the quality of water we get around the country is unknown so it is used solely for the toilet, showers and washing. I wouldn’t mind getting rid of hard water, but lacking space we do without a softener and only have a two element whole house water filter.

Hey Mike,
When I lived in Fort Worth, I was about 4 miles from a small airport. Throughout the hangars there, there were probably 12 of us storing our coaches. The beauty of a hangar, is that most of them are already wired for 50amps or more. Since I only needed it for about 3 months (winter), it was nice having it close by and plugged in. The landlord (another Prevost owner) was in Florida during those months, so it worked perfectly for both of us.
Generally speaking, I’d guess it’s the most economical way to store our coaches, if you don’t have the luxury of garaging it at home.
Good luck!

With what has been said above. What air pressure would anyone put in 365 tires that carry 15,400 pounds using referenced chart. Our local Michelin dealer is NO help

Mike, The picture did notshowup, but on themain forum page are the instructions foruploading photos.
Bottom line however is to pull up the inverter mfg.s manual and selet the installation method that best suits your needs. We can discuss this in general but the installation manual is the Bible you must follow.
