You have probably over filled the oil capacity with a total of 44 quarts of new oil. …. it had some oil remaining in the engine in all probability. When it heats, it is possibly going to try to belch out… watch the oil pressure…. if it is crazy, beware.

I over filled the tranny once and it heated up big time. We stopped in a shopping center and had a mechanic come “release” some of the tranny oil…. it was a mess.

I replaced the fridge in December & install Decorite latches # 5838 at the bottom of the French Doors. Keeps them locked when we travel.

    Works good for us

Short cycling in my experience has been associated with a waterlogged accumulator tank bladder or lack of the correct pressure or a leaking check valve that allows pressurized water downstream from the pump to leak back into the water tank via the pump.

Thank goodness none of the short cycling issues I have encountered are leak related because a pump that is short cycling is delivering a lot of water through the leak and into a coach or bay.

I didn’t realize the Name Tags had been pulled from the PC on-line offerings.

Now that really, really looks nice. Great job!

Leesburg … very close to The Villages. Having relatives and friends in The Villages for 25 years, we’ve been going there quite often. I’m surprised that there isn’t an RV friendly (i.e. Big, Huge, Bus Barns) subdivision or development right in The Villages. They seem to have just about everything else!

    Enjoy!

Prevost got two tubes of sikaflex 255fc to Mt Rushmore next day (22 dollars for stuff, 84 dollars shipping). Cut and scraped for hours the old stuff off the glass and frame. Followed the book of Jon, and have it in place. We will be able to give it 40 hours before we move again. Then Yellowstone, Glacier, Banff, Lake Louise, Jasper, Edmonton, Calgary – Stampede, Home.

In reflecting on this failure, I attribute it to cabin pressure. We were running 65 ground speed into a 30 knot head wind with otr running.

Is it ok to travel with one of those pop out side windows open to vent?

Can you imagine the Winnebago guy setting next to you watching that whacky process!

You can practice that procedure by standing on one foot, patting the top of your head with one hand while using your other hand to make circle motions and repeating, there is no place like like home, there is no place like home!:)

Dmatz, congratulations on your new Newell! Wow, they are beautiful for sure as we certainly considered that brand. You just don’t know how much I teetered from one brand to the next (even Prevost converters). Every manufacturer has their pluses and minuses.

A person just has to decide which fits them best. When Jon told me every coach is a compromise, it just made sense to me so I leaned towards the Prevost. It is exciting building a new coach as you get to pick out every item, etc.

    Safe travels,

Getting a straight answer from this bunch is tough, but I believe I’ll take the chrome and brushed aluminum over the copper. Sorry about any dust in the picture, I already took care of it. Did I mention how happy I am to once again have a water manifold system where I can turn off any water distribution source from one location. Oh, maybe I forgot that.:)

I found the motor and storage under the bed along with the controls. I turned out I had popped a breaker which I finally found. Prior to finding it I tried pulling the cord. It was very very hard to do but could be done. Maybe someone larger and stonger could do better but it took all I had to pull enough out to plug in. Once I found the circuit breaker all was good again.
