Alpine camera reset procedure
Posted by Brady on March 5, 2014 at 7:33 pmAlpine radio / gps with rear camera in a Liberty Coach and can’t remember procedure with toggle switch to reset camera function. Any Liberty owner remembers the reset procedure when you lose the camera in Aux 1 or Aux 2?
Has something to do with the lower toggle switch by spot light operated in combination with something else…
All help appreciated.
Thanks,

Place toggle switch in down (off) position
Release parking brake
Press brake foot pedal
Move toggle switch to on-off-on
Release brake foot pedal
Re-Apply parking brake
Note – Ignition key on during procedure
Note – To be performed with unit in on posistion

Thanks as will give this a try… Any reason it loses its memory requiring this reset?

The only time I had to do it was when I changed out the house batteries and had to shut everything down.
Must be a power interruption of some sort going on.

Tom;
Your reset procedure did the trick….. Have you already departed FL?
Thanks again,

Brady,
Thanks so much. I lost power at storage without my knowledge for long enough to run the batteries down. That had to be the cause. I’ll try the reset procedure in a few minutes.

Can you imagine the Winnebago guy setting next to you watching that whacky process!
You can practice that procedure by standing on one foot, patting the top of your head with one hand while using your other hand to make circle motions and repeating, there is no place like like home, there is no place like home!:)

Tom, thats worse than the secret Liberty hand shake.
Who comes up with this stuff.

Liberty folks are so stuck up they don’t even shake hands. In fact I am so stuck up I won’t even talk to myself.
